Y/N

We only have 2 months.

We have to find a way to escape with everyone in the end.

"A transmitter, never thought she would go that far." Emma said while holding the reacher.

"Top of the line stuff huh...?"

Are we that valuable for them to go to suck lengths?!

"Y/N, you were right, the key to our value is our age and our scores." Norman said.

" 'Another six year old. Just the usual.' Extrapolating from what the monster said, we can assume that our age most likely determines the meat rank."

"If I recall correctly, the ones who were shipped off were between the ages of 6 to 12." I continued. "And if six year olds are the usual, then the top of the line stuff must be..."

"Twelve year olds!" Norman, Emma and I said in unison.

"Then our scores?" Emma began to question. "It's the shipping order." I said confidently.

Emma gasped. "That's why we were never told our scores unless we got a perfect score! That's why we never noticed..."

"Once we turn six, we get harvested in ascending order of our scores and once we turn 12, we're shipped regardless of our scores." Norman said, emphasising the word regardless.

"So our shipment dates were postponed because of our perfect scores?!" Emma mumbled. "Wait... do you still remember what that demon said? They have plans to ship a 'special one', alongside us." I furrowed my eyebrows, a finger on my chin as I thought carefully, "who could it be? It has to be someone among the children, but it'd be stupid to ship out a specific child for no reason!"

"That's true, we have to find that special child and help them escape too, but who could it be? What makes that child so special that the demons specifically want him?"

"It's said that the human brain will be fully developed at 12, they're after our brains." I explained. "The brain is the most delicious and a well developed brain even more so! Could that be one of the reasons for choosing that child?"

For that goal, they'd have to risk so much and spend so much more.

"First comes the rope, let's go back to the house and look for it. I actually have an idea where we can find some rope!" I smiled but I was suddenly pulled back by Emma.

"There's a transmitter inside of us, there might be more." Emma whispered.

Norman chuckled. "Don't worry, later last night, I checked the house, there was nothing like bugs with cameras or anything you could think off. We need to find how tight security is after all!"

I stared in shock. 'He's so self-directed!'

We headed into the house and I heard Norman sigh. "Who would've thought that we were the ones who are bugged and not the house, I was careless."

I frowned. "Mama probably had figured out about us going to the wall." I muttered.

"I'm not so sure about that." Norman said. "Assuming that last night, she didn't realise we were there, it could mean that she doesn't know where we are at times. She only knows are location when she checks her watch. If the transmitters signal could identify us, then mama would've known if she checked her watch last night on the way back or during lunch break."

We'd be busted, that we went, that we know, that we're gonna escape.

"But that's not the case."
