𝐘/𝐍

Beep! Beep!

My eyes opened, 'another day...'

I sat up, rubbing my flaky eyes. 'Are the going to make me go through another one of those agility tests today? They're so bothersome. Though I'm surprised.' I stared at my legs, stretching my joints, 'they don't feel sore at all.'

"Hello Y/N." The doctor spoke through the speaker.

"Morning!" I greeted.

"Present for you daily check-up, please."

I pressed my hand onto the scanner. "My, you're quite the healthy boy, aren't you? Time for breakfast."

A tray was slid through a hole in the wall. I sat at the table and clasped my hands together. "Thank you for the meal."

I grabbed my fork and ate. 'This tastes so bland, even more bland than yesterday.'

The foods consisted of some form of protein and nutrients. On the side, there was a pill bottle.

"What's this?"

"Your medication of course."

After breakfast, it was time for the daily tests.

I was transferred to another room where I conducted the tests, the same as in Gracefield.

I miss them.

Beep! Beep!

Once the test was done, I headed back to my room. On the bed, there was a gown, similar to a hospital gown.

"Perfect results, yet again."

"He's made many improvements since coming here."

"Perfect results, no matter the increase in difficulty."

"He's just like 22194."

'Norman? 22194, that's his identification number, I remember clearly. How has he been doing? How long have I been in here?'

"His intelligence can't be compared to 22194, but when it comes to physical abilities, Y/N definitely performs better."

"Of course he would, after all, the experiment was a success."

'I'm not sure what happened or how it happened. The voices came from outside the cell, but isn't this room soundproof?'

"Please change into the gown." The Doctor spoke.

I headed over to the bathroom with the gown in hand and changed. I stared at myself in the mirror.

'Did I change? Have i changed? My hair has grown longer, I've grown taller... but something about me... there's just something...'

Pulling down the collar of my sweater, there was a symbol on the upper left side of my chest.

Λ7214, a.k.a LAMBDA 7214

As I stared at myself in the mirror, I noticed something weird.

'My eye... why is it so red...?'

"Has he noticed?"

I turned my head to the source of the voice.

"Huh?"

"The meat we've been giving him..."

'The meat?'

I stepped out of the cage for my tests.

"You smell a lot like lavender." I spoke, keeping my eyes on the white, shiny floor. "Lavender? I don't use cologne, Y/N. Maybe your smell is off?" I shook my head at his words, "you really smell like lavender." I turned to stare at the children in the cages, changing the subject.
