THE STORAGE ROOM
"If there's anywhere that has rope around the house, then it has to be here."

Though mama has the key that unlocks this door, she too rarely enters this room.

To us, this room is one filled with mysteries.

Norman and I searched around the room, as Emma kept a look out for Mama or any other children who may come in out of curiousity. I let out a few dry coughs at the dust that was around here, sniffling a bit.

"Found it!"

Emma grabbed the 'rope' from Norman, before wrapping the 'rope' around her waist, testing the quality of it. "It should work just fine!"

Tablecloth!

"We've got our ropes!"

We stuffed the tablecloth into a bag, and shoved the bag into a pouch, before heading out for the forest.

With this, we can climb over the wall!

"Okay, here comes the hard part." Emma sighed and Norman's words.

The transmitters...

And a way to get everyone out of here

"Don't you think it's about time we tell Ray?"

"I was thinking the same thing, Y/N!" Norman smiled. "Knowing him, he wouldn't panic. He's smart and knows a lot about machinery. I'm sure he'll be able to help us out. I can talk to hi-"

My eyes widened as I felt a presence behind us. I turned around and flinched.

"Ray?!"

He gave us a wave, looking up from his book.

"Sorry, I followed you guys here."

Emma shivered.

"I've been itching over with curiosity. So I thought it was about time I ask." Ray spoke, shutting his book as he gazed at our expressions.

Norman sweat dropped.

I let out a yelp as I was pulled. Ray wrapped his arms around my neck. Norman and Emma were pulled in too. "You guys better tell me what happened at the gate. It was clear as day that something was up based on your expressions! Not to mention you came back empty handed and when I asked what happened this kid over here ignored me." He glared at me as I averted my gaze in embarrassment.

"Don't you dare tell me that nothing happened!"

He finally let go of us and I sighed. "Could you... help us out?"

"Sure."

"All of us... have to escape from this place."

Mama walked hand in hand with the kids. She glanced at the old tree up a small hill.

'I knew I could count on you.'

"A farm... demons... mama is the enemy..." He mumbled under his breath, eyes wide as he slowly processed everything.

"Aren't we kinda screwed? Aaaah! That's why the windows are all latticed!" He nodded in understanding, unfazed.
