Chapter 4

*Haruka's POV*

After saying all those things, I was replied by nothing, but silence

The whole time I was saying those things, I was looking at her

But she just hunged her head low, with shadow casted over her face

'shit'

I was about to say something, when she lift up her face, giving me a free access to see her bright blue eyes, with tears rolling down her cheeks

"A-aside from s-strategic wits, advance s-skills, and o-overwhelming abilities, y-you forgot the i-inborn clumsiness, haha.."

And here I am... frozen by her own words and smile

'How can this girl still smile? I just fucking hurt her'

"S-sumimasen..." I gulped hard as I bowed my head in front of her

"Ih~ Y-you don't have to apologize, Haru-kun. I cried because of the flashbacks on my mind" she said, beaming her bright smile

'this girl...'

And for the first time since we met earlier, I gave her a warm smile, surprising her

"Wah! Haru-kun, you smiled! Haha.." she cheerfully exclaimed, her eyes full of joy and I just ruffled her hair

'I don't want to see those tears again'

And so, I promised to myself, that I will protect her and her precious smiles

*Yuki's POV*

After the short drama I caused in front of Haru-kun, he helped me with my practice

For short, he went against me, trying to defend me. And I realized that he was good in playing basketball. Though, he said that he just know how to play, but he's not really into it

I picked up my phone and basketball, while I hanged my gym towel on my shoulder. Haru picked the empty bottles of water, and we walked out of the gym together

"Dinner's almost ready. You should take a rest first before taking a warm bath, Yuki-san" he said, as we walked side by side towards the house

"Uhn.."

"I'll just call you later for dinner then,"

"Okiedokie~" I replied as we parted ways in the entrance

*Next Day*

"Yuki-sama, I already re-heated your bentos" my personal maid; Sena, said as she gave a paper bag to Haru-kun, consisting of 11 bentos I made last night, for the whole Seirin team

"Thanks, Sena-san" and then, she went back to the kitchen, while Haru and I went outside the entrance, where our black Subaru was parked

Haru wants me to sit on the backseat, but I insisted to sit on the passengers, which we kinda argued a while ago

But ofcourse, I opened the door of passenger seat and seated as fast as I can, while he placed the paper bag on the backseat, before entering the driver's seat

He looked at me and just sighed in defeat, then we started our journey toward Seirin High School

I glanced at the rearview mirror and saw the brown paper bag, remembering the first time I made bentos for the GoM
