Continuation of Lakshman's P.O.V:-
My eyes were brimming with tears, when I saw her opening her eyes.
" Urmila!!! "
She blinked her eyes as if trying to adjust her vision. She tried moving when she felt my hand on her. She looked towards me, and immediately jerked me away and stood far away from me.
Mila: Who are you? How dare you to enter my room and come near me??? You don't know me, I am kul-vadhu of Raghukul. If someone came to know about this they will separate your head from your body. (the warrior woman in her awoke and she grabbed the knife from the nearby table) But before anybody does I will chop you off, if you dare to come near me. I am Rajrishi Janak's daughter and brave Lakshman's wife.
The fierceness with which my tigress roared, made me chuckle. She still has the guts to make any, even a big warrior also think thrice before fighting with her.
Me: Hahaha!!!!!!!
Mila: Why are you laughing??? And who the hell are you????
Me: Urmila, please recognise me my love, I am your husband Lakshman.
Mila: Lier!!!!!! My husband has gone along with his brother Ram to the forest. He cannot return before fourteen years.
I tried explaining my tigress that her husband is back but she was not ready to listen to me. It was then that, the whole family came running into our room.
Kaushalya maa: What is all this commotion here Lakshman????
Her eyes fell on my love standing in the position of a warrior, ready to attack me any moment with her knife.
" Urmila!!!!!! ", mothers squeeled with joy.
" Mata!!!!! ", Urmila ran towards them and bowed down to touch their feet.
I smiled. Who will say this girl was a warrior all ready to kill me a few minutes back!!!! and now she is acting so homely.
Mandavi bhabhi: Rakshasi !!!!!!
Shrutakirti: Didi...... You are awake!!!!!!! (smiled between her tears)
Sita bhabhi: Urmi!!!!!!!
The sisters hugged each other like there was no tomorrow.
Then she went to Ram bhaiya, Bharat bhaiya and Shatrughan to greet them.
Ram bhaiya: Urmila, you are fine sister?????
Mila: Yes bhaiya.
Shatrughan: Then why this knife and what was all the sound coming from your room bhabhi?
Mila: Oh yes! Ram bhaiya, Bharat bhaiya and Shatrughan, this man (pointing towards me) entered my room without my permission and tried to touch me. And when I caught him, he is claiming himself to be Sumitranandan (said pouting and complaining). But don't you worry, Urmila is not weak bhaiya, I will kill this man who tried to make me dirty with his touch.
Everybody were looking sad and guilty. Poor Urmila! The destiny made her so much troubled that she failed to recognize her own husband for whom she had been waiting for years. Everybody were feeling pity for her.
" Urmila, please listen to me ", I tried talking to her again.
Mila: Dare you come near me. You don't know, if my husband comes to know about this act from you, he will not leave you alive.
(on hearing this everybody started laughing, even me, but there, my love stood confused)
Sumitra maa: Well Urmila, he claims to be Sumitranandan because he is.
Unable to believe the fact that I am her swami, she looked at Ram bhaiya and Sita bhabhi for confirmation. They got the hint and nodded in positive. Then she started looking at me. It was like she was trying to drink every bit of me. Her eyes held the emotions of a drunkard, who wants to drink his wine till wee.
Mila: You are back? Ram bhaiya what is all this happening?
It was then Mata Kaikeyi stepped forward and caressed her hair lovingly and spoke, " yes Urmila, your husband is back after fulfilling his duties for fourteen years. And not only that, today is your Ram bhaiya's coronation ceremony ". A tear escaped from her eye.
Shrutakirti: Yes didi, you know, so many preparations are left. We are confused because we don't have you with us to guide through the rituals.
Mila: (wiping her tears) So what, now I am awake, so let's do the preparations fast.
" But Urmila, devarji has.......", tried speaking Mandavi bhabhi, but Urmila was out of the room ignoring me completely.
I felt dejected and rejected. Is my Mila not going to talk with me?? But I deserve this, it was me who had taken such a huge decision to leave her and go away. It was because of me that she had to suffer. I deserve a more severe punishment.
Ram bhaiya tried to come near me and console me.
" No bhaiya, Urmila is right, we have a lot of work left. We cannot waste anymore time ", saying so I lightened the atmosphere. Ram bhaiya and others too smiled at me and left from there. After that I tried talking to Mila many times, but she was busier in her work of arranging for the coronation ceremony and then the festival. My each attempt turned to be futile.
Everything was ready in time thanks to Urmi's supervision. Everybody had come in their best attire. But wait!!!!! Where is Mila?????
I was thinking about her when Sita bhabhi came along with Mila. Oh! How beautiful she was looking in that red and orange attire, dolled up completely like an angel from heaven. Everybody were praising for her sacrifice and beauty, but she never dropped a look at me.
Soon the ceremony started, and ended with Ram bhaiya and Sita bhabhi being the crowned king and queen of Kausal Kingdom. It was now time for celebrations. Though it was not a festival of Holi, the subjects had decided to play Holi as a mean to express their happiness. I also, along with Bharat bhaiya and Shatrughan decided to go and celebrate with the subjects.
Bharat bhaiya and Shatrughan took Mandavi bhabhi and Shrutakirti along with them. I looked around for Mila, and I saw her near a pillar. I ran upto her and got hold of her hand and tugged along to come with us. But she jerked away my hand and went away with Sita bhabhi to the kitchen for helping her.Lakshman's P.O.V ends...
What do you think is the cause of Urmila's ignorance towards Lakshman???
Next part will be the last part of this story, with Urmila's POV.I know ki ye bakwas tha.... But koyi marna math.
