Our lopsided lives changed.
Giving space becomes a norm.
Noise becomes an unexpected guest.
A cough clears a spot in a railcar.
Traveling becomes a global qualm that never was.
Our breathing slows our jarred bodies give in.
As the silence becomes a gift;
we realize that lives are so fragile and death is certain.
