Let me catch you up on the life at Misslethwaite after Colin started walking. It had been 3 years. Mary Lennox went to the local school with Dickon, refusing to have a governess. Colin was home schooled, by Mr. Craven himself and he no longer used the walking chair. Dickon grew considerably much. Everyone grew, actually but Colin was shorter than Marry while Dickon was a little taller than her. Marry was a healthy girl, no longer skinny as a stick.Dickon started talking in a British accent and so did Mary, ever since a British visitor came to Missletwaite. Colin thought It was foolish but soon he talked like that too even though his accent was a little broken.
They all kept visiting and tending to the Secret Garden although it was no longer secret but private. However, much fun the three friends always had, Colin demanded a bit too much of Mary and Dickon's attention so there wasn't much time left for the two of them alone. That was, of course intended for Colin grew a bit of jealousy towards Dickon and Mary's bond.
