Jackie ran with a mission, Marvin could be such an idiot going alone. He thought Jackie was the stupid one, but look, he went alone too. He shook his head at the thought of his best friend, what a hypocrite.

He came to a immediate stop at the door. He really wasn't expecting to be here again. Yes here he was, saving another brother. When he stepped through, he made eye contact with the camera with a devilish smirk.

"Hey asswipe, remember me?" He continued on to the elevator but stopped his fingers mission to the button when it pinged. He jumped back and rolled his shoulders, ready for a fight.

When the door opened, it was like a clown car, a mile long line of creatures rushing out, determined to leave. Jackie yelped and found some cover, it was amazing. Demons, fairies, unicorn, creatures he didn't even recognize. His eyes struck with fascination. Then, he heard the voice that snapped him out of his trance.

"So, you know your way to your dad's?" Marvin was holding the little pig boy as he walked out of the elevator.

"Yep! Thank you Marvin, sir!" Marvin out him down and he ran past Jackie, when the hero stepped out Marvin couldn't help but to smile.

"Hey Jackie! How's work?" Jackie could only stare at him for a moment, but only for a moment.

"How's work? Marv, what are you even doing here!" Marvin hummed as he walked towards the confused man.

"Well, j saved a bunch of defenseless creatures. Why, is that a problem?" Jackie held the bridge of his nose.

"No, that's not a problem, but making sure you weren't followed is!"

"But I wasn't followed." Jackie had to laugh at him.

"Oh yes you were! I found Anti in the middle of Brighton, on the verge of a panic attack, because he followed you here!" Marvin was speechless.

"Wh- what?"

"Yeah! I took him home and came here to kick your ass!" Marvin rolled his eyes.

"That's impossible, I would have sensed his aura- Oh, oh shit." It finally clicked.

"Yeah! 'oh shit'! His aura shrunk, didn't it. If he's far enough away, you won't feel it, will you? He's not an idiot." Marvin sighed, he did mess up.

"Alright, I'm sorry, and I'll tell Anti that too." Jackie exhaled, he could never stay mad, especially at Marvin.

"Good, now why are you really here? You're no hero, you won't do anything unless there's some personal gain." Marvin wanted to argue with him, but he knew he couldn't. Jackie was right, but that didn't mean he was going to come clean.

"Well, maybe, I'm looking up to you. J truly cam to save all the prisoners." Jackie raised a brow at that statement, he hummed.

"Marvin, has anyone ever told you you your a bad lair?" Honestly, it was a stretch to think Jackie would fall for that.

"Come on dude, tell me."

"I'm going home, I want lunch." Jackie groaned.

"Marvin!" He vanished, leaving Jackie alone and irritated.

When Marvin got home, he was well aware he was going to feel it later. As soon as Jackie got home for dinner, he was dead. But for now, he would bathe in the glory of retrieving the cursed blade.

He clapped twice and the knife appeared on the pedestal. He wouldn't dare touch it, he didn't want those thoughts to rush through his head.

"Alrighty! Now that you're here, maybe you can solve our Anti problem." Marvin was well aware that the knife was somewhat sentient, and he treated it with respect. He looked to the hall.

He wasn't living, he was hungry. He was already in deep shit with Jackie over why he was at the base, so why not steal a couple of the hero's cookies.

Jackie was practically a young Jack, so of course he had a gigantic sweet tooth. Chocolate chunks, lovely. With some milk? Delicious.

He grabbed the tin and grabbed three, putting it back. He pointed to the counter and a tall glass of milk appeared. He hummed in content and went to dip the cookie in the fairy product.

"Marvin." He junked and held his hand in a gun motion. He had to catch cookies when Jack lifted his arms in defence.

"Don't do that!" Jack could only chuckle while Marvin put his cookies down.

"So, what pulled you to go to the hunter base?" He winced at the mention of the place. It was true what Jackie said Anti did follow him.

"What! I wasn't going to leave them there." Jack smiled, his egos were always thinking of others and he couldn't be happier m

"Cool!" Jack had been whispering the whole time, making Marvin cock a brow.

"Why are you whispering?" Jack smiled.

"Anti's taking a nap. And get this! I watched his Golden Freddy glitch go his arms! I think he's getting better!" Marvin had to surprise the achievement but was relieved.

"Really?" Jack nodded and has to keep himself from shouting, he laughed.

"Now all we need is the tsundere and murderous intent and he's back to normal." He giggled as he walked off, Marvin hummed as he bit into the stolen cookie. Anti was able to glitch something with the knife only being in the house, huh.

"Interesting." He chuckled as he walked back to his room, he was not ready for Jackie to come home.
