Author's Note

Hey! I recently just downloaded Wattpad again and honestly I'm overwhelmed with the number of messages I've gotten regarding this series, my well being, and updates as a whole. Honestly in the last two years with Corona Virus and such, a forgot this book existed.

I'm not going to sit here and make excuses and promises to you all that we all know will probably not be kept. So let me just explain myself and get that out of the way. Without further ado.

Are you still alive?
Yes! I am. Surprisingly. I'm well and alive, and plan to be for a long time!

Have you healed/recovered?
Funny story, yes and no. For the first six months after my surgery, everything was good and great! But when September 14th came around, we figured out the first surgery failed and the screws they put in my back had in fact broken. I went in for a second invasive surgery after that. Two spine surgeries in one year. Wild right? I'm fully recovered now however! Though mentally is another story.

What are you doing now?
I have an art Instagram and I've actually been posting more frequently on AO3. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to tag and advertise my other accounts on Wattpad so for now, I'll put both my @'s in the comments if you want to check it out! I've been more in the BNHA fandom recently and have been working on some original projects IRL to actually publish. If you're interested in that let me know. I'll give you all updates!

Are you planning on updating/finishing this?
That's a complicated question honestly. It's both a yes and a no. It's not my main focus and honestly I'm not that big into Miraculous Ladybug anymore. I recently turned 20 this year and I've moved on from that part of my life. I started the first book when I was around 15 and I have to say, I never expected it to blow up like it did.

I do currently have plans to continue when I find time and motivation to do so, but I can't promise consistency. I forgot what my plans were for this second book so I'll be playing by ear! I will try to finish this project since you've all been so patient and you'd like to see the end of it. And hopefully I can do so by the end of next year. But that's a loose commitment.

Other info:
I've recently started going by Elliot and my pronouns are now He/They. I don't use Wattpad for anything anymore so my updates will be slow and I apologize for that.

I've been running several DND and Roleplay based servers so if you're interested let me know!!

As for everything else, thank you all so so much. It baffles me why so many of you have been invested in this. My writing back when I was fifteen was truly awful and cliche and I hope that I showcase how much I've grown and what I've learned from all you. You all truly do mean the world to me.
