Morning

I'm back!! Here's a really fluffy oneshot so if you guys die of the domestic fluff and cuteness overload, then... sorry not sorry!😁 (Stan ITZY)

I see a bright white light. Am I dying? As my consciousness is coming back to me, my eyes start to open and I realize I'm in my bed in my house. Huh. I guess I'm still alive then.

I take a deep breath and look around my room to familiarize myself with my surroundings to remember where I am.

I do this every morning and start to stretch without moving too much so I don't wake my wife up.

I turn over to face her and stare at her beautiful face and wonder how I can call her mine and how we got here together in this cute little house, this cute little neighbourhood, in this cute little place, at the same time.

I slowly get up so I don't disturb her sleep and go to shower and make breakfast. I see our dog running up to me and I quickly let her outside to do her business so she doesn't wake the house up.

It's only 6am on a Saturday so today isn't going to be a busy day. I put some food down for Bella our 2 year old australian shepherd puppy and let her back inside to eat while I start breakfast for us.

As I'm cooking on the stove, I see my beautiful wife padding down the stairs in one of my white collared shirts and some shorts and she sits on the island counter behind me.

I look back at her and smile because she looks so adorable just sitting there, swinging her feet back and forth, playing with Bella as she's waiting for breakfast to be done.

"Good morning wifey" she said

"Hey baby, good morning to you too. Rest well?" I answered

"Yeah I did. With the kids gone last night, we definitely had fun and my legs are sore but I did sleep well afterwards" she replied.

I snicker a bit as I look at her neck full of love marks I made on her last night during our make out session and other activities (😏😂)

"You are definitely gonna have to cover up those marks before our kids get home from my mom's house before they ask what they are and where they're from. I'm not ready to give our 4 year old and 6 year old the talk yet" I say with a look and knowing eyes.

She laughs brightly and her eye smile starts to show as she nods her head in agreement.

When breakfast is done being made, we sit at the table and eat quietly with bits of conversation passing between us and the sound of clinking and scraping cutlery on plates and bowls is heard throughout the kitchen.

After we finished, we cleared our plates and took a long shower together just giggling and giving sweet kisses to each other like highschool kids before we got out and put on some comfortable clothes.

She was wearing one of my hoodies and some shorts while I was wearing jogging pants and another one of my sweaters.

I look at the time and it's only 9:30 and the chaos duo will be coming back at 12 o'clock which gives us more alone time together so we decided to watch a movie we've seen a hundred times and just cuddled on the couch.

Halfway through the movie, she kept pecking my cheek so I turn and look at her.

"You okay honey?" I ask

"Yeah of course!" She said. "I just wanted to kiss you and give you back what you gave to me last night" she added playfully with a glint of mischief in her eyes.

I laugh out loud at her silliness and let her mark me however many times she wanted until the movie was over and she was satisfied.

"I guess you need to cover your marks up too now" she says and smirks.

I hear my phone buzz so I look at it and it's a text from my mom saying the children and her are on the way back. I show my wife the text and she gets up at make sure the house is tidy and clean before they get here.

My mom has a spare key to our house so we hear the door unlock and Bella starts running towards the front and we hear her paws scratch across the floor as she starts to yip and yap at the people entering the house.

Then we heard two sets of thumps that sound like feet running, giggles, and two voices shouting at the same time.

"MOMMA! MOMMY!"

We look at each other and smile softly before going to greet our two girls.

"Hi babies! You guys are back!" My wife says as they hug us together.

"Hey my little bubbaloos! How was your time with grandma?" I say and ruffle the hair of Alex; our 6 year old who was hugging me while Emma; our 4 year old hugged her.

"It was great! We watched movies, did our hair and nails, had a sleepover, made a pillow fort, and had ice cream and candy!!" Emma replied.

"That's awesome baby! How about you Alex?" I ask

"It was fun. I read three Geronimo Stilton books and started another one. I also spent time with grandpa before he went fishing with his friends and stayed inside" she responds.

"That's wonderful bubba. I'm glad you had fun." I smile and say to her. She definitely got her reading from me. I was such a bookworm when I was young and I'm glad at least one of our children picked it up.

When me and my love hug the other child and let them go, we greet my mom and say thanks for taking care of the girls for the day and she leaves.

We unpack their bags and they go to their playroom to play with their toys and I hug my wife from her backside and kiss her shoulder as we waddle our way slowly to watch them at the playroom door.

We smile at each other and I kiss her lips softly and she kisses me back as we just stand there in our cute little house, in our cute little neighbourhood, with our cute little children, our cute little dog, in our cute little life.

Everything is perfect and I know I wouldn't change anything for the world. What a perfect morning.
