Chapter 4

It had been almost an hour, alex was laying on his bed staring at the ceiling. The longer the time passed, the more he was starting to forget parts of the dream that happened.

He went inside the bathroom and took a warm bath, while sitting on the bathtub he stared at his reflection on the water for a while. He was slightly irritated because of the fact that none of the man's answers made his head clear. Instead, it only made him more confused than he was before!

He then remembered something and couldn't help but laugh at himself quietly,

"Why would I want him to call me 'Your Highness'? A child asking for that could still be understandable, but for someone with the same age as me asking for such a thing is too ridiculous."

He leaned further on the bathtub making his head sink underwater for a few seconds in hopes to atleast make his head think straight from now on, free from overthinking uneccessary things again.

He sat back properly,

'Was that really worth it?'

With one hand, he brushed the hair on his face backwards then wiped his face.

'Am I making a big deal out of nothing? After what happened, it's all too good to be real now.'

He sighed in defeat, he stood up and grabbed a towel.

He had also heard from Hugo about the strange event that had happened in the Eastern kingdom around 10 years ago. One night, the people from the East had been tormented by strange re-occuring dreams. Only they were tormented out of all the 4 major kingdoms. After that, various minor kingdoms were destroyed including the people from the East.

Alex only thought that maybe because he was also from the East that he had experienced the trauma people faced 10 years ago.

After putting on some comfortable clothes he went outside and saw Amanda looking surprised to see him come out from the bathroom.

"Alex? You're up earlier than expected." She complimented with a smile then grinned,

"Excited about today am I right?"

Alex stared at her,

'Today? What's with today? Yesterday we didn't seem to plan anything-..'

He then remembered. He then immediately replied, "Yes! Too excited that I had already taken a bath ahaha"

He couldn't help but awkwardly laugh, how could he forget what they were supposed to do today?

"Well since your awake would you mind to helping me finish these sandwiches?"

Alex nodded and took over her place. She then told him to make a few more before leaving to take a bath.

Before they left Hugo took off his hooded cloak and gave it to Alex.

"Wear this, It'll be hot outside."

Alex wore the cloak then Hugo covered Alex's head with the hood.
