he looked at me with worry in his eyes. he saw i was crying. i didn't want to go through it again. i wanted so much for this night to be a happy night. i was actually thinking that tonight i wouldn't want to die. obviously that wouldn't be tonight. i cried and cried. john got up and picked me up. he walked to the bathroom door and the window was shut.
"listen, you do what you need to do and i'll be right outside the door to make sure no one comes. then we will pack and go to my house," he said in a whisper tone.
"thankyou so much. you honestly don't know what this means to me, john," i said hugging him, still shaking.
"anything for my best friend," he said holding me.
i shut the door and did what i had to do. i opened the door and john moved from the doorway. i walked over to my room door and slightly turned the knob. john was standing right behind me to ensure my safety. he slowly walked behind me. i went over to my dresser to pick out clothes and pajamas for a few days because i didn't know how long i was going to be at john's. i packed my last few things and grabbed my bag. john came up and hugged me from behind.
"you wanna know something?" he asked starting to smile.
"ooh sure," i said giggling.
"we should go get some food because i'm kinda hungry. what do you want?" he asked.
"the world," i replied trying to sound serious.
"well, i'm not quite sure where they sell the world. is that some sort of burger or something?" he asked laughing.
"oh hush, you dork," i said smiling.
john let go of me and grabbed my bag.
