You know… taking care of the brothers is not bad at all.
Few days had passed, and she had gotten along with some of them, whereas the others… well -- she thought they were still just acquaintances. She could still remember her first -- well, not really -- interaction with the brothers. It was at the beginning of taking care of brothers day, that time, she was only observing them at the side. As she expected, Shuu was trying to escape from his mother, Reiji was reading a book and trying to memorize it, the triplets were playing around, and Subaru was in the garden.
When one of the brothers, Ayato, took notice of her presence, however, in Eztia's point of view, his face seemed to be brightened before he rushed towards her, leaving his two brothers perplexed behind yet they ran after him.
A smile made its way to the girl's lips due to seeing how adorable the reddish haired boy was.
As he stopped in front of her, Ayato grabbed her arm and started pulling her, saying that she should play with them.
Kanato together with Laito then arrived and they scrutinized her with curious eyes. Seeing his brothers, Ayato began to introduce her to them even though they already did it on the first meeting.
"Eztia, let's play with us! I'm sure you will like it!"
The said girl smiled. "What are you going to play, young Master?"
"Catching a bat! So -- come on, play with us!"
"All right, all right." Eztia giggled.
Although the other two boys were sort of shy, they eventually were able to get ease around her and the garden was filled with laughter.
They were so precious that Eztia could not help but shower them with love as she turned herself a mother figure since physically, she was older than them. Day after day, the Sakamaki triplet would be sticking to her even if she was doing chores, such as: she was cleaning her room, making some food, and so on. Sometimes they would come to her room and tell her that they had a nightmare, which Eztia still kind of doubted regarding it. Nonetheless, in the end, she either read them a story whilst they were lying on her bed or she made them hot chocolates for them.
Whenever they were getting bored of playing the 'chasing a bat and catching it', the trio would nag at her to play with them although she was working some chores that it was of her own will. Then Eztia, with a helpless sigh yet eventually smiling, would hold a game of talents. She told them how to play it, which they would show her what talent they were in the best and Eztia would choose one of them who was truly amazing.
Laito questioned her with regard to what prize the winner would get that made the girl wonder for a moment before she told them that it was up to them, but she would make some food or sweets for those who lost in the game. That took their attention and the game began with Ayato, who was showing his skill in sword, Kanato, who was singing a certain song called "Scarborough Fair", and Laito, who was playing piano.
Eztia was so amazed that once all of the three children were done, they came up to her and questioned her who was the winner. Answering honestly, the girl pointed at the oldest of the triplet, Ayato. A big grin rose up to the said boy as he glowed in pride, while the other two were deflated yet still congratulated their brother. Heart of Eztia clenched at the sight, which she immediately said something to them that unknown to her, they would always remember it.
