Light blue honey gradient coloured orbs watched the blue sky with a distant look within them. Owner of those orbs was wondering how a certain grayish blue haired boy was as well as her family were, she hoped they were fine.
Every day, every night, she would apologize and pray whilst her heart was clenched with guilt. Feeling guilt due to leaving her family behind and perhaps making them worried, feeling guilt due to not changing the horrible plot despite she already knew about it, feeling guilt due to everything.
People would see her as a bright child who was always smiling and cheerful. Well, she hated to break them, but she was not like that at all. Sometimes, but not always.
Her parents, however, used to tell her that she had to be positive even though trouble or bad fortune had come to greet in her life. Therefore, from that on, she would keep herself to see the good sides in the bad ones. If there was a bad thing in a good thing, why not the other way around?
Remembering that, Eztia slowly inhaled a long breath through her nose as she closed her eyes and held it for ten seconds before she exhaled it from her mouth. She did this for many times until she felt her mind get lightened as if she was alone in some place that had a lot of hills and she was standing on one of the hills' top with bare feet. After that, a breeze would pass and either brush her skin, blow her hair, as well as her clothes.
The girl was in her own mind when arms started to encircle around her waist and brought her closer till her back hit someone's chest, making her lift her eyelids and reveal her rare coloured eyes. The eyes then glanced to the side, and Eztia smiled at the sight of one of the Sakamaki brothers as she turned her body over to face him.
"Ah, young Master Shu." A bark then was heard that made Eztia look down and her smile widened once she saw a familiar German Shepherd panting while shaking his tail. "And Edgar Junior." His shaking tail got faster.
Ah, she forgot to mention that it had been years ever since she came to this Diabolik Lovers' world. Yes, she did say years. Eztia, at first, was quite surprised as well as bewildered why she was aging like the people she was taking care of and she found it rather strange. But the moment she discovered what the reason that had made her aging like that, she deadpanned at a certain King and could only grit her teeth as she gave him a cold stare whenever he was near.
Anyways, there was an occurrence where everyone soon found out Edgar Junior, and their first reaction was surprise before it either changed into a excitement or a normal one -- well, that was only some of them, whereas others were clearly disgusted and had to force themselves to get used to living with a dog due to Karlheinz's order.
It seemed Edgar Junior had also given the same pill for the reason that when a dog was supposedly only able to live nine or thirteen years, Edgar Junior had lived more than that.
Moving her gaze back at the blond haired boy, who had been staring at her intensely with his light ocean blue eyes, Eztia tilted her head slightly.
"Is there anything you need, young Master?"
Unexpectedly, while he bent his upper body, Shu wrapped his arms around her and placed his face on her shoulder, nuzzling.
"Pat me." He murmured.
The rare colour eyed girl batted her eyelashes in surprise before she released a laugh and began patting him.
