𝐒𝐘𝐑𝐄𝐍 𝐄𝐘𝐄𝐃 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐏𝐋𝐀𝐂𝐄 𝐀𝐒 she sat at the bar twirling her straw around in her drink. Her sepia orbs met the margarita placed on the table. She picked up the glass and placed her brown lips on the straw welcoming the cold beverage in her mouth.

Loud conversations swirled around the place as people were either dancing or simply enjoying the atmosphere. The bar was a classy, public place where it wasn't packed but it wasn't empty either. The lustrous lights shined down on the people as they enjoyed their night.

Slow jams boomed loudly as people talked and consumed many drinks. Syren blew out a breath as she picked up her drink finishing it. She sat the glass down and waved over the bartender.

"I'm not giving you another drink,go home." the man replied as he wiped down the counters.

"Are you trying to be my savior or something? You can stop, I didn't even have that many." she rolled her eyes.

"Yeah well it seems like you don't need anymore." he looked to the side.

"Fine whatever." she grabbed her small black purse and stood up.

"Well I'm sure the lady can make her own decisions don't you think?" a deep voice called out.

Syren orbs met the face of the voice and smiled. The man had a buttery, caramel skin complexion with a slim physique and a shaved face. His light brown eyes scanned over her body as she smirked.

"I think the man is right. I can make my own decisions." she affirmed. The bartender gave her a look as she smiled before looking at the man who couldn't take his eyes off of her. He held his hands up and walked off.
