Chapter 10 - The Plan

#Veronica Sawyer's POV:
I rushed out of the house along with Heather Duke and Heather McNamara, when we got out we all looked at eachother and frowned, I mean Chandler said it wasn't our fault that she got hurt, but I could tell that we all felt guilty as fuck- that we may have been the ones that caused her dads outburst.
The silence was there for a second.
"Guys- we can't just leave her in there."
I said then looked at them.
"But what can we do?" Mac asked.
"I'm not sure, I mean we could call the cops." I said, then Duke and Mac both looked at me.
"No, that's not a good idea." Duke said.
"What?! Why not?! She's in there probably getting half beaten to death right now!" I shouted. "Oh right, well apparently her mom called the cops on him once, and when her dad get back out of jail, the damage was much worse, word on the streets said that he threatened to hurt Heather Chandler even more if anyone ever called the cops again" Duke responded.

At this point I was even more concerned- I mean what could three 17 year old girls do? I then looked at Mac. "I think I might have an idea." I spoke.
"Great! What is it?" She asked.
"This is gonna sound crazy..." I paused
"But what if we get Ram and Kurt to teach him a lesson. They absolutely adore Heather and would be very annoyed if anything like this was happening to her."  I continued.
"Yeah; but what means we'll have to tell Ram and Kurt that Heather is being ab*sed." Duke interrupted. "I know, but at this point what have we got to lose? And besides,  we could ask them to keep this a secret." I nodded.
Mac then looked at me "I think it's our only choice to be honest..." She nodded too.
"Alright, I'll go to Ram's house right now and get him, Kurt will probably be there too getting everything ready for the party." Duke said, then began to walk away, Chandler didn't live too long from Ram since they were in a rich part of the neighbourhood.
"Now we just wait.." I sat down on the patio.

#Heather Duke's POV:
I walked to Ram's house which was only like a couple minutes away, when I arrived I knocked the door. "Ram! Open the door." I shouted, then he opened it, "What is it Duke?" He said, with Kurt standing beside him.
"Listen this is serious, we need to talk to you."
I said, then Kurt poked his head out the doorway and looked around, "We?" He said.
"Yeah, you need to come to Chandler's house.
"Alright," Ram said, then the three of us walked back to Heathers home.

#Veronica Sawyers's POV:
I was getting completely impatient, my leg couldn't stop twitching, I'm not sure if that was cause of the anxiety or what? But it never stopped, Mac looked at me and put her hand on my shoulder.
"She's going to be fine..." She said, although I could tell by her look that she wasn't so convinced herself, "What happened when you told Chandler how you felt?" She asked, then I looked at Mac and smiled.
"She— uhh. She," I paused "She said she liked me too."
"Really?" Mac smiled.
"Yeah-" I nodded.
"So are you two?" She asked.
"I'm not too sure what we are right now, I'm just trying to get through this then I'll talk with her." I said, then looked and saw Duke, Ram and Kurt walking towards us.
"Alright, got them." Duke said.
"What is so important!" Kurt asked.
"Right, we need you guys to promise you won't tell anyone this." She continued, then Ram and Kurt both looked at eachother and nodded.
"Heather Chandler gets ab*sed by her father."
Mac said, hearing those words still hurt me, it was almost like someone took a shot to my heart whenever I thought about how Heather has been dealing with this abuse for years.
"She does? Jesus fuck..." Ram said.
"Is she okay?" Kurt asked, then I looked up at them and shook my head.
"No, we need you guys to go in there and help us get her back— we tried to talk to Heather about the abuse but her dad heard us, then got angry and pulled her down to the floor and kicked her." I frowned.
"Okay, okay. We'll take care of her dad, you guys need to grab her and get out as soon as her dad is distracted." Ram said.
And then the plan was put into place.
