- "Hey! Hey! You ok? Can you hear me? Blink twice if you're not deaf. Come on, we gotta move."
- "What the hell...*cough*...the fuck is going on?"
- "How about we chat later, soldier boy. Right now let's focus on not getting blown up. Follow me."
The soldier slowly gets up on his feet and out of the crashed escape pod that managed to detach itself from Tartarus just in the nick of time before the forced landing. As he starts to pull away from the pod, the flames that were gaining ground at the back of the escape pod quickly transitioned into a mild explosion that would've thrown him a few meters forward had it not been for the woman that pulled him away from the blast. He looked into her helmet's visor and addressed the beautiful set of maple colored eyes behind it with a thank you and his name: "I'm Moretti. Tony Moretti. But you can call me Wardog."
- "Wardog? Really, that's the best you could come up with?" she replied with a smile. "I'm Mari Tatsuo. Now that we're best friends forever, can we go?"
Moretti grabs his helmet and carefully places it on his head without ruining his remarkable hairline, that seemed to make it out of the crash in better shape than the rest of his body, as blood was dripping from the wounds he suffered during the fall, which caused concern for Mari, as she knew they had to hurry to find a shelter and treat their wounds. As they made their way through the seemingly never ending sands of Romar, they started talking about how they ended up in this situation. As expected, they were both convicted felons aboard the ship and both woke up from cryo-stasis the moment Tartarus accidentally went through that fateful wormhole that ultimately sealed its fate. They each tried to regain mobility and consciousness as fast as humanly possible just in time to react to the inevitable forced entry into Romar's atmosphere and managed to insert themselves into escape pods, ejecting from the ship a mere minute before it crashed into the Ruva.
- "You think anyone else made it out?" Mari asked with a slight show of worry on her pale, yet beautiful face, as her perfectly crafted bone cheek subtly twitched beneath the scar on her right eye.
- "I highly doubt it. That motherfucker went hard face first into the surface. But you never know, let's hope we're not the only lucky bastards on this god forsaken planet." Moretti replied.
As the two humans were advancing on Romar's territory, they catch a glimpse of an alien vehicle hastily making its way towards the ocean in which Tartarus had landed. They decide to follow it and find out what's going on in the hopes of getting some much needed answers and information about this strange land they ended up on. They start running in its direction, following its tracks and after about a mile, they end up at the ship's crash site, where the Romari soldiers were scouting the area. They both look intrigued by the physical appearance of the Romari as they try to take in as many details as possible to analyze the situation and how they could intervene. Mari notices the moment two alien soldiers emerge from beneath the water, carrying a slightly unconscious human from the sunken ship. Unbeknownst to her, that convict was Maximilian Theseus. Before she and Wardog could come up with a plan, the soldiers had already loaded Max in their vehicle. She looked to her left to talk to Wardog, but to her dismay, he wasn't there. One second and one look in the other direction later she heard his voice and immediately prepared for what was to come.
