"I'm sorry I didn't get to you sooner corbs. I feel terrible." Zach said while walking Corbyn out of the nurses office.
"Don't. It's my fault." Corbyn always blamed himself for things Kyle did.
"What? No it fucking isn't." Corbyn looked down.
Zach walked infront of Corbyn, stopping him from moving. "Corbs listen to me. Whatever Kyle does to you is not your fault. He is just a dick." He tried to sound reassuring but Corbyn never believed him.
"It is my fault Zach. I just stand there and let him do whatever he wants to me. Say what you want, I'm fucking useless."
"Corbs, I know you'll never believe me but I do love you, you're my best friend. I would never lie to you." Zach has always believed in Corbyn, even when he didn't believe in himself.
"Thanks, and I love you too. I just feel so pathetic."
"You don't have to, it's ok." Zach pulled Corbyn in for a hug and after a few minutes, they walked to their lesson.
Time skip.
It was the end of the day and Corbyn was walking home. Zach had already went his separate way home and Corbyn was left alone. Walking down the streets, alone with his thoughts.
This walk home was more anxiety filled than usual for Corbyn. There was smashed glass all over the floor, and something you may not know about Corbyn is that he has self harmed in the past, a lot to be specific. So seeing all the glass on the floor made Corbyn think.
What if I do it again? Will anyone care this time? Maybe I should take a shard. What if I do it again.
Is the thoughts that raced through his mind. Before he could stop himself, he picked up the sharpest looking glass shard and put it in his pocket.
Time skip.
Corbyn was finally in his bedroom with the door shut and he was pacing his room back and forth.
The glass was layed on his night stand. He stopped pacing, and went to pick up the glass. He sat on his bed and took of his hoodie. He held the shard in his hands and thought for a second.
Maybe I shouldn't do this. Do it. But I can't! People will be upset and- DO IT! No. I'm not doing this again!! No one cares about you. No one loves you. Now fucking do it!
His brain was his biggest enemy, and it always has been. Without any more thought, he brought the shard to his wrist and quickly made a deep cut into his skin. He winced at the pain.
Yes, Corbyn had done this in the past, but never this deep. Never this much. And it still hurt. A lot.
Tears streamed down his face as he made more and more cuts on each wrist, each cut deeper than the other.
What he didn't know is that his mum was back home and she was heading upstairs to Corbyn's bedroom. Corbyn couldn't hear his mum, all he could hear was his brain telling him to go deeper and deeper.
Corbyn's mum heard him crying from outside his room. So she opened the door and saw Corbyn sitting on his bed, blood dripping from his arms, tears rolling down his face.
Corbyn's eyes shot up as he saw his mum running towards him. He dropped the glass shard on the floor and his mum hugged him tightly.
"Oh corbs.. not again." She said, worried.
He sobbed onto her T-shirt as she pulled away. She gripped his face in her hands and kissed his forehead. "Im s-sorry m-mum.." he cried out.
"No. Don't apologise Corbyn." She said as she took his arms to inspect the cuts. "I'll be right back ok?" She picked the glass up off the floor and took it with her downstairs.
She came back with her phone, bandages and wipes.
Time skip.
"Why did you need youre phone?" Corbyn asked as his mum finished putting the bandages on his arms.
"I'm going to call someone. You stay here I'll be right back ok?" Corbyn nodded and she left the room.
Corbyn was confused. She didn't seem as worried as the other times. Who was she going to call? Why does she need to call someone? Does she not care?
Then the thought came to him. Oh no. What if.. no she wouldn't do that.. right?
