Chapter 2: Heat

Liana's making a video-letter to send to Whitney, Clark says to the camera, "Well, uh, Whitney you shipped out over there. I'm sure it's pretty warm, uh... that really sucked, huh." Liana says, "It's okay, Clark, just say what you feel." Pete walks over and says, "What's with Clark Kent movie star?" Clark says, "Well, Liana's making a video-letter for Whitney overseas." Liana says, "I thought it would be a great idea, since I know he's a little  homesick. Hey, do you wanna give it a shot?" Pete says, "Watch how the pros do it. The town's still rebuilding after the storm. The first week of school's a bear. And you're missing the worst heat wave in 25 years. Bottom line, stay safe and come home soon. PS, the football team's toast without Fordman on offense." Liana laughs and says, "That was perfect, Pete." Clark says, "Yeah, super." Pete says, "Try not to choke this time." Liana says, "How about it, Clark? Do you wanna try take two?" Clark says, "How about a rain check?" Liana says, "Sure, uh, why don't you come by the Talon later?" Clark smiles and says, "Alright." Liana smiles and says, "Alright, see ya." Liana walks into Biology class and sits next to Chloe. A woman walks in and says, "Good morning, I'm Ms. Atkins. I'll be your new biology teacher on health and human development. I'm really sorry about the air conditioning in here. But it looks like we're gonna have to suffer through this together. Let's get ready for a movie. Alright. Everybody try to stay awake." The while watching the movie the screen catch's on fire and everybody runs out.
