The grimm copy (RWBY)

Taiyang

Patch, a nice safe place to raise a family, also a place not inhabitted by dangerous grimm. Many small familys call this place home. Such family was the Xiao-long's. The Xiao-longs lived on the island for several genrations in a simple wooden cottage in the country. The owner, Taiyang was a Father of two girl, he did his best to raise the girls and taught them things that he knew. He was a professional huntsman that taught students at signal academy on patch. When his kids were old enough he brought them to singal to teach them. He was a happy man and cherished every waking moment of the day.

Though it wasn't without it's hardships, he had a near breakdown after his second wife went missing. His first wife seemed to go missing after giving birth to his first daughter, Yang. He was upset at the move and was able to find comfort in his close friend and future lover, summer, she had brought him out of his rut and helped him raise yang. Eventually they got married and had another child, Ruby. One day summer had gotten a mission and left to go on it, she said she would be back on a few weeks. Soon weeks turned to a month, then turned into two months. After awhile Taiyang fell into a deep depression and would often find himself alone in his room head in his hands alone. Qrow would arrive at times to help out, but yang would do most of the work in the house during this time. he could never forgive himself for isolating his kids during his depression. So he vowed to be there for his kids after getting a swift kick in the pants by qrow and suprisingly Ozpin. 

He woke up one morning and started cooking breakfast for his kids and started to clean up the house. When Yang woke up first, she was suprised to see her dad outside of his room. She saw that he had made a delisious breakfast for all three of them. He asked Yang to wake up Ruby for breakfast. Later on when all three had eaten, he apologized for being stupid and leaving them while he was greving. Ruby accepted it right away and gave him a hug, yang asked if she and him could go for a walk for a little bit, just him and Yang. Needless to say yang let loose of all her emotions that day and ended up unlocking her semblance by punching her father into a tree. When she saw what she did, she ran up to him and brought him into a tight hug as she cried into his chest. 

He focused his life on rasing his daughters, teaching them lessons in life and lessons on hunting grimm. He would take them on family trips into Vale and even adopted a dog to teach the kids about being responsible. Although the dog would end up chewing up a fair bit of shoes before the girls were able to teach him not to eat their dads shoes. Somehow during a walk in the parks of patch, Ruby was carrying Zwei and tripped, the dog unlocked its dusting semblence that day as it bounced around the park like a bouncy freaking ball. The girls laughed and chased after the dog, Tai just stood there in shock at what he saw. 

Eventually  the girls grew up and got into beacon academy, Tai was happy yet upset at the same time. He had spent many years trying to raise his daughters right as he can. He remembers calling in a female friend to help teach the girls about puperty, mostly because he had no Idea how to explain it to them. He could laugh at the memory now, but that was an extreamly scary talk to have with them at the time. He in his free time to take care of his garden and plant veggies to keep him busy. But then came a day where he would come face to face with both of his wifes again.

Tai was just finished getting dressed for the day when he felt his house shake a bit. After a minute he felt the shaking stop and walked down stairs to see if anything had broken during the quake. As he made his way down stairs he heard several female voices, he grabbed his brass knuckles and slowly went down the stairs. He soon realized that his lower house level had changed. He heard the voices in the kitchen and went against the wall, the voices quieted down and after a few moments Tai swung out with his fists raised only to stop when he saw who was in his house.

Summer: "Tai? When did you get here?" Tai then proceeded to pass the fuck out.

Tai soon felt something wet on his face and coughed and sat up trying to get the water out of his nose and get some air. He was startled when he saw the faces of his two former wifes staring back at him, while a girl that looked like an older version of Ruby stood akwardly holding a large empty bucket that once held water.

Summer: "Tai are you okay? You seemed very suprised when you saw me and raven in the kitchen." She raised her hand to feel his head for any bumps, Tai jerked back to his feet and stepped away from the group of 4 women in shock. "Tai whats wrong?" Tai looked at Summer and then to Raven, when they looked into eachothers eyes Raven spoke up.

Raven: "This is not the Tai we know summer, but I know something that may have to do with this situation." Raven says as she gets Summers attention, Yang and Ruby imediatly know what is going on as well. "Taiyang I hate to break this to you, but we are from another universe altogether." Tai kept his distance as Zwei came woke up from his little bed and saw the four girls and ran to them, happy to see Ruby and Yang again. Ruby smiled and grabbed the dog and started to cuddle it in her arms. Raven carfully aproched Tai and stopped several feet in front of him, making sure that his attention was on her alone. "In our reality we have been divorced for several years and have raised yang even though we are divorced, its a little diffrent with summer over there. You were a doner for her and had Ruby, it took a little bit of convincing but we were able to get you to do it." Summer walked around and saw the few pictures that were on the wall, all of him and his two kids, but none of either her or Raven.

Summer: "I think this house has caracter and has a nice worm feeling. Are these all your pictures or do you have more somewhere else." She asked as she got close to him, Tai looked at Summer and his eyes widened in shock before grabbing her and pulling her into a tight hug. Summer was shocked and didn't know what to do and just stood there. 

Taiyang for the longest time just wanted to wrap his arms around Summer for the longest time, now the universe had given him that opertunity. The other 3 girls stood there in quiet shock at the sudden action of their 'father/ex-husband'.  After a few minutes of awkward hugging later, he let go of her and placed his hands on her face.

Taiyang: "It has been.... so long since I heard that caring voice of yours summer." He let go of summer and carefully walked over to where Raven was. He looked her over before giving a half smile and holding out a hand, they both shook hands with firm grips. "Even if you are from another world, your grip somehow still hurts my hand." He took a his hand back and looked at the two girls standing behind their mothers. "Look at you two, you two look beautiful, and it makes me want to look for grey hairs wow." He walks over to them and gives them both a side hug before looking back at the group before shaking his head. "Right, have you all had breakfast yet or not?" 

The behavior of this Taiyang was still shocking to say the least, this one was all smiles and happy. When they said they had eaten he nodded and offered them to take a seat on the couch to talk. They started talking about things from both of their worlds and gave diffrent stories. he did tell them about what had happened to his wives in his world, about his struggles with depression back then and how he dedicated his life to helping his daughters through life. He even told the story on how the Yang in his world unlocked her semblence. 

The rest of the day the group talked and swapped stories with one another, Tai had finally gotten over Summers death, with a little help with summer.
