Those on rement thought that Patch was the safest place on the planet, many small familys grew up on the small island and attended Signal academy. The small towns that doted the island held most of the small stores and schools, the small Goverment on the island kept telling people how grimm never appeared on the small patch of land, making it the primary point for young couples starting a family. This small island would be the perfect target for Salem's rage. She sent small Grimm birds to slowly polute some of the small ponds and rivers on patch.
The birds would land on the water before dropping down into the river before vanishing below the surface to gather into a large blob that would slowly push out the water, but keep enough to keep up the illusion of a running river or deep pond. Soon enough had gathered below the surface to self produce Grimm in large quantitys. All that was needed was a signal to begin the attack.
MEANWHILE
Jack was flying down to Patch to talk to talk to Raven 2.0 about how half of her house teleported into his dimention. He was next to Jaune's adopted sister, she had somehow sneaked onto the bullhead with her gear and only came out when they were halfway to Patch.
Izetta: "So what are we doing on this trip!" One thing Jack realized was that Izetta's personality was esentric and all over the place when her sibling wasn't around, when situations were very serious would she get serious. "I mean if this the first time I will be outside of the academy since I got here so I cannot wait tosee patchhereiwonderiftheyhavethesameicecreamstandonfifthstreet.... CAN WE GET ICE CREAM!?"
Jack: "STOP....talking, I am going to a friends house to talk about something important, I now have to watch over you so you dont do anything stupid while we are here." Izetta pouted at the comment. "Besides why are you here, I thought you had homework to do with the two Glynda's."
Izetta: "I didn't wanna do it, I was bored, I wanted to do something else so I jumped on the Bullhead." She said to him with a radient smile. "So can we get Ice cream?" Jack face palmed at the comment.
Taiyang's Cabin
Tai, Raven, and summer sat in the kitchen talking when a knock was heard at the door. Summer stood up and opened the door to see jack standing there with Izetta standing behind him holding a medium ice cream cone with a smile on her face. Raven walked up to the door and saw jack standing there. A seductive smirk made its way on her face, she pushed summer out of the way and leaned in the doorway.
Raven 2.0" Well what do we have here, a handsome young man makes his way to my door."
Tai: "My door Raven, your part of the house is the kitchen." That got everybody to stop and stare at Tai for that comment. "I could have phrased that better." Jack shook his head before stopping the catastraphy in its tracks.
Jack: "So from what you told me is over the phone is that your kitchen is now in a house that looks like yours back in your world."
Raven: "Thats right, and Summer teleported with it as well as our kids." They let him in the house with Izetta so they could tell him about the sudden teleportation.
(TIMESKIP FOR REASONS)
Jack: "So you had no idea on how it happened is from what I am gathering." (looks at author)
Raven: "That is right it was just so sudden, sorry we couldn't help you." Izetta sat in silence and listned to the whole thing before speaking up.
Izetta: "was there any noise or anything?" Raven and Summer were silent before summer spoke up.
Summer: "I did a faint buzzing sound but I thought it was from my fridge, it was acting up for several weeks and thought nothing of it." Jack nodded his head and walked into the kitchen and stared at the old looking fridge. It was at that moment when the fridge kicked on, Everybody then walked in from the living room and listened to the fridge. "This isn't the sound I heard from before, it was more quiet and more of a humming sound." Finally a piece of the puzzle had been found and jack smiled at the fact.
Tai grabbed a glass from his cabinet and decided to get a drink of water. He was kind of thirsty and decided to grab some water from the tap. He turned on the tap and palced his glass beneath it and watched as the dark matter flow into his wait what? Tai jumped back and the glass fell to the ground and broke as the black icqor fell into a puddle and formed into a dog sized beowulf. Zwei started barking loudly to get everybody's attention. They all turned and saw the beowulf start growling at the group and stood on its back legs. Tai acted fast and ax kicked it in the head and killed it quickly before things got out of hand.
Raven walked towards the sink that was still running, the black icqor flowed down the drain into the ground.
Raven: "Where do you get your water from Tai?" She asked him.
SHORT TIMESKIP
Jack, Raven, and Izetta ran down to a fresh water lake that the cabin and local towns got their water from. The stopped at the shore line and stared at the calm water, the sun was setting and a dark orange glow fell upon the water. The trio walked to the waters edge and looked down at the water that was dead calm. Tai had remarked about how the birds would sing in the area, the lack of birds was a warning sign to the group. Raven walked up to a tree and broke off a large branch and pulled sticks off and soon grabbed an empty glass she had brought from the house and placed it firmly in the branch. Jack carefully took the branch and walked to the water's edge and dunked the glass into the water and dragged it through the dirt under the water.
Raven had gotten a firm grasp on Jacks belt as he attempted to pull the branchout of the water. Jack started to tug hard as the resistance built up. He got the glass almost out of the water before he realized that the sun had somehow stopped moving and gave off a pure red glow over the lake.
A large tentical Suddenly wrapped itself around jacks lower half and yanked him into the water. Jack dropped the branch and grabbed onto Raven's arms as she tried to pull him out of the water. Izetta started to run over to help when she noticed Many grimm start to pull themselves out of the lake and start to wonder onto land. Raven started to pull desperatly to try to get jack out as another tentical started to wrap itself around Raven's leg to try to make her fall off balance. She soon found her and jack on the loosing end of the battle as she heard Izetta start to fire at any grimm that got close to the trio.
Jack: "RAVEN! YOU HAVE TO LET GO OF ME!"
Raven: "DON'T BE STUPID YOU FUCKING MORON!" she said as the tentical started to climb higher on her leg and started to pull her into the lake.
Jack:" YOU HAVE TO PUT UP THE CODE BLACK AND GET GENERAL SCHNEE'S FORCES DOWN HERE NOW! BEFORE IT OVER RUNS THE DAMN ISLAND!" Another tentical made its way out of the water and tugged on Jack's neck and forces him to let go of raven. Raven was flung backwards to Izetta's feet, she looked up to jack standing in the water as tenticals started to wrap themselves around him to pull him in. She picks up his heavy suitcase gun and started to fire at the grimm tenticals that wrapped themselves around him.
Raven saw that Jack was almost completly covered by tenticals before she saw Tai come out of nowhere armed with a pair of fire covered brass knuckles and started laying into the grimm and started to free Jack. He pulls jack away from the lake only to feel a sharpe pain in his lower back and chest. Jack only looked on in horror as a pair of tenticals had forced their way through Tai's body and out his chest. Tai coughed up some blood and faced jack.
Tai: "Your a good kid Jack, look after my girls all right." Tai then was forced into the lake as the tenticals dragged his body deep into it. Jack could only scream out Tai's name and try to grab him before Tai was pulled under. He had met the man on few occasions and was quite fond of the man. Jack stood in silence as the sounds of Grimm and gunfire were heard behind him.
Raven: "JACK COME ON WE HAVE TO GO! THE REST OF PATCH MIGHT BE IN DANGER AND WE HAVE TO CALL OZPIN AND GENERAL SCHNEE, LETS GO!" Izetta Ran up to him and started to pull him along with Raven running next to them as they ran back to the Cabin. Only one thought ran through his mind.
