Three people ran through the forrest as fast as they could, firing weapons in diffrent directions at diffrent Grimm. Raven had left her sword behind by accident, but she had years of experiance on her side as she hit Grimm hard in certain areas as she fought her way to the Cabin.
Izetta: " We have to contact Beacon, do you guys have its scroll number?" She asked as she dropped down to a knee and fired a burst at a Beowulf.
Raven: "No I don't, how about you Jack?" Jack tossed his heavy gun to raven and searched his pockets for his phone and grunted in anger.
Jack: "I left it in the cabin, Its in the living room." He says as see's Raven blast a group of grimm away before tossing the gun back to him. A Alpha Ursa came at the group, Jack switched the weapon into a massive hammer and swung it at the Alpha ursa, decapitating it.
Raven: "Summer might be holding out in the house, we may have to hold it for now until the call is made then retreat to the nearest town. We need to keep moving!" The group started to get closer to the house to see most of the windows were blown out and the door swarmed with grimm. Said swarm ended up getting thrown back and a silver flash over takes the area around the house. "SUMMER!" Jack was thrown off by what just happened but Izetta just tugged him along. As they entreed the house Jack saw raven drawing her sword and summer holding her head in pain.
Summer" "It's been awhile since I've done that, what happened at the lake?"
Raven: "Grimm under lakes water, Grimm invading Island, Tai is dead, we need to contact Beacon." Jack grabbed his phone and opened it up and Called the last person he had called.
Ozpin: "Hello Mr. Adel how may I." He was cut off by Jack.
Jack: "Not now oz, Patch is being invaded by Grimm coming from its fresh water lake and possibly the rivers. We need help asap oz or we will lose patch.
Ozpin: "Got it I shall alert General Schn.........." "THE NUMBER YOU HAVE CALLED IS BUSY AT THE MOMENT PLEASE CALL AGAIN..." Jack slammed his phone onto the couch and growled. "Line went dead!"
Summer: "When will help arrive?"
Jack: "Don't know, line went dead dead before I got that far."
Summer: "Okay here is the plan, we will split off to the nearby villages and raise the alarm, we will then start the evacuations to the coast or to Vale if possible. I will take jack to the north village, Raven and Izetta, you guys will be going to the south villages. We have the people take only what's nessisary for their survival. Raven you take zwei with you got it? Questions? No? Good, then lets go." The four plus zwei then left the house to begin the evacuations.
MEANWHILE
General winter was getting all bullheads V2's full of troops and planned for evacuation drop off points. Ozpin had told her about the happanings on patch, she had also started to scramble heavy tracked vehicles to be transported Via ox heads transports.
(Ox heads are basically bullheads but without the passanger compartment.)
General winter: " how long untill the eldweiss is moving towards patch?"
Engineer: " Two hours, Engineers in the reactor room were half way through tearing it apart for maitanence."
General Winter: "Tell them they have 1 hour, I don't care what it takes to get that hump of iron in the engine room back to working!" She had growled in anger. "Send out a radio alert to all ships around patch to re-route to patch and help in evacuation of civilians. We don't want to crowd the coast cities and cause more panic."
Radio operator: "General, a message from ozpin! He is sending out bullheads from beacon carrying 3rd and 4th year students along with several experienced Huntsman to aid in the effort."
General Winter: "Then they will be alone for awhile, we are trying to get the ractor put together and if they don't i am gonna shove my boot up their backside!" She looked out the window at this moment to see every bullhead and oxhead with men and equipment leaving the eldweiss and start making their way to patch. "We faced worse than this before."
???: "Have you now" Winter turned around to see this worlds version of herself standing there standing at attention.
General Winter: " yes we have, and with less resources."
Winter: "How can I help?"
General Winter: " tell me all avalible places where we can evacuate civilians to and somebody who knows about patch itself."
Winter: " That would be team RWBY the sisters on the team live there." General Winter sighed knowing about that but wanted her sister to avoid combat as much as possible if possible.
Genral Winter: "Bring them here and tell them to bring their weapons and ammo." Winter walked away and started to call as the General started to tap her foot, a habbit she picked up when she was nervous, she had to force her other foot on top to stop the tapping sound.
It had been awhile since she lead her men into hell, now it was time to repeat the proccess.
