Lost Heir

Chapter 5

Lizzi comes down the stairs when Landon finishes taking to me. Some different emotions cross her face when she sees me.

"Why did you bring her into this, you said no more friends involved." Lizzi says and walked away.
I keep my head to the ground after she said this. Landon walks away after her. Ash stands beside me, she looks worried. When her phone rings. She looks up,at me and drives me back to school.

When my alarm rings its the first day I did not want to walk though those doors with out Lizzi. She was not at the dorm this morning. Landon walks beside me on the way to band but when I try and talk to him, be blows me off. Lizzi walks into English. She sits down beside me.
" Landon told me no more finds would get involved, after what happened with V."

She seems very serous. I fell back not that I got involved. She seemed to dare about this V alot. We have brake inbetween classes because we have to move around the campus. Most of hen we get out of Eglish class Lizzi and I walk down thre hall to the Science building. Landon ends up at the door the same time we do. He gives me a cold shoulder and greets his sister. This pisses me off a little bit. When I sit down, a person sits down beside me. Floppy hair in his eyes and late round glasses. He seems very upbeat. When we are being taught he keeps passing me note. For the first little while it was OK now its like every couple minutes. When we do our work, I stand up and toss all the paper in the bin. The looks on his face was priceless. I pick up my stuff and pick a new seat. I needed to swallow my pride and make peace with the other side.

When I sit down I get a look from Landon. He pushes me into the end of the table. He still does not talk to me. The teacher hands our then assignment, when I look down it's a project. One that's has to do with farming. My life. I must of been looking down at my work for sometime the bell snaps me out of my trance. I walk out if class. I have a spare next. I make my way up to my room. When I open the door, Lizzi is one the floor with a girl on top of her. I can fell my eyes widen. When I clear my throat, they snap apart. This makes me chuckle to myself. They seem confused with my actions.
" so your not mad?" Lizzi asked
I shake my head. The truth is I am not upset. This is our world. I leave and do my work in the band room, the teacher has given me music and a sound proofed room. When I walk in, two people are making out. How many times do I have to walk in on this today. When I open the door, they don't move apart. They don't even move when i clear my throat. I got a stunning idea. I went and got the crash cymbals. They spring apart, when they sound. I stand there looking unimpressed. Landon and some blond are on the ground in front of me. He looks at me with a glaring look, I smile sweetly back. I can tell this pisses him off even more. What a good day so far. It's not even lunch. The blind looks like I shot her kitten. When she walks out she make sure to give me a look. Trust me you get alot of those when you are a small town kid, and city people don't like you. I sit in the room and blast Indy Rock. When the lunch bell rings, I make myway down stairs to eat. Lizzi waves me over to her table with the girl from our room. Eva seems really nice. Funny how me meet. We have really talk about what I walked in on. When lunch is over I have no more class for the rest of the day. I make my way back to my room. I change into swearts and a sports bra, my contacts come out. Time to pass classes. When I sit down a knock comes at the door. I open it. Landon stands outside. His eyes look over my body. I fell exposed, he pushed past me.
" come on in. " I say
He does not even look at after that comment. I pull a Hoodia over my head.
" I need help with the farming paper. Lizzi said you could help"
He looks like he actually needs me help.
