Note: I am not glamorizing or making schizophrenia, depression, or other mental illness 'cute.' This story is cute in the way that two people who feel excluded find each other and help each other with their struggles. I don't want anyone to take this story the wrong way. Thank you!
Schizophrenia
I talk to him
about the world.
How I see it and
how he sees it.
We sit in silence
and he says,
"I don't think you're saying
everything that I'm hearing."
But I'm speaking too much to know
and too little to understand.
Finally I answer,
"What did I say?"
