A Day in the Life of Death

Chapter 9

Aiden's bloody body lied on the gravel driveway as Jezebel slowly rolled off of his body. She turned off the car and got out to check Aiden's body, to make sure he was dead. Aiden was barely breathing but he kept his eyes closed to make her think he was gone. She slowly walked away and faded into nothing. Tyler had been driving to his house and as he got there, he saw Aiden's body in the driveway and pulled up. He quickly got out and called Lydia and 911. "Aiden are you alive??" Tyler said softly, with tears in his eyes. Aiden mumbled something and looked at Tyler the best he could. He gasped but also sighed, as Lydia pulled up. She quickly got out and started to cry. "Is he breathing??" she cried. "Yes but he's in horrible condition." Tyler said. 10 minutes later, the paramedics arrived and they got right to work. While done were treating Aiden, some were questioning Tyler and Lydia. "What happened to him that he in such a bad state? Did you witness it?" the paramedic asked. "No, I was coming to visit him for the day and I saw him laying in the driveway. This woman here with me is his girlfriend, who I called when I got here, along with 911." Tyler explained. The paramedic nodded and said "Well does he have any security cameras?" Tyler looked up at his garage and saw a single camera attached to the wall. "I can see one from here but I have no idea how to get the footage for it. Just please make sure he makes it out alive.." Tyler pleaded to the paramedic, with tears streaming down his face. The paramedic smiled sadly and gave Tyler a pat on the back, then went over to Aiden. After while, they cleaned Aiden up and managed to get him on a stretcher. They took him to the city hospital, while Lydia and Tyler followed behind the ambulance. When they got there, Aiden was rushed into the emergency room. Tyler and Lydia followed close behind the stretcher all the way to his room. When he got in his bed, a doctor came in. He looked at Aiden, then at Lydia and Tyler. "Is this Aiden Redwood? And who might you two be?" the doctor tilts his head. "Yes, that is Aiden. I am his best friend, Tyler. This is his girlfriend, Lydia." The doctor looks at Lydia and asks "Might you be able to contact his parents?" She looks up at him. "No, I don't have their number." He nods and explains the medical procedures he'll have to give to Aiden. "Well, I'll have to give him an X-Ray and a CT scan, to check how many bones he broke." He writes some things down on his clipboard and pages a nurse. "Please call Aiden Redwood's parents. Tell to come down ASAP and that Tyler and Lydia are here." he looks up at them. About 20 minutes later, they hear a knock on the door. "Come in!" the doctor says. Aiden's parents walk in, petrified at their son lying there. "Oh my gosh! What happened sir??" His mother gasped quietly walking over to him. "Well with what we've been told..his dead sister came back from the dead and ran him over." His mother looked the doctor dead in the eyes and said "I'm sorry, what? Our daughter is dead." There was a sudden voice in the corner of the room that quietly said "And Aiden should be too." It was Jezebel.
