A 17-year-old boy named Aiden and his 19-year-old Jezebel lived together in a small house. One day, Aiden was going to get some groceries late at night. Jezebel was outside walking around. He was backing out of the garage and he wasn't really looking so he hit Jezebel with a piercing scream. Aiden quickly got out of the car and kneeled down to Jezebel. "Fuck...you," she says faintly. She was bleeding very quickly and Aiden was trying to stop the bleeding by taking his shirt off and putting it on her body and wrapping it around her. He felt the faint pulse on her neck. "I..hate..you," she whispers. She takes her last breathe out as Aiden sobs. He calls his parents and an ambulance. When his parents got there, they hugged Aiden tightly and cried. "Was it on purpose?" his dad asked his voice breaking a bit. "No! I swear! It wasn't on purpose! I didn't see her!" he sobs, sniffling a bit. His mom looked him in the eyes and said: "Did she say anything before she died?" He cried even harder after his mom asked him that. "Y-yeah," he stutters. "She said she hates me.." he falls on his knees sobbing. His parent's eyes widened and they kneeled down and helped Aiden get to his feet. The ambulance gets there a few minutes later and asks what happened. Aiden explained and he could barely talk because he was still crying. They took Jezebel away and got his parent's number to ask them what she would want to be down with her body later that day. They went inside Aiden's house and talked about what had happened. He cried most of the time explaining. His parents gave him a hug. "We'll let you know when those people contact us about Jezebel. Try not to think about it sweetheart." his mom says sadly. "O-okay. I-I'll try not to." he stutters. "She may be gone but, you have us, your friends, and Lydia. You're not alone." his dad smiles, trying to lighten the mood. "Yeah. I g-guess you're right.," he mutters. All of them stand up and Aiden walks them to the door. "I-I'll be alright..eventually," Aiden says trying to smile. They smile at him, saying their final goodbyes, and Aiden opens the door, letting them leave. He closes the door and goes to sit on the couch, staring at the ground. He would never forget himself. He was a vlogger so he had to vlog that day. He cried halfway through the vlog. After he was done, he called Lydia, his girlfriend. "Hello?" Lydia says, answering the phone. "Can you come over..? I need to tell you something.." his voice was cracking a bit. "You sound like you're about to burst into tears! Of course, I'll come over! I'll be there in 10 minutes!" she says sympathetically, and a bit concerned. "Okay..thank you. See you soon." Aiden says, hanging up. 10 to 15 minutes later, Aiden hears a loud knock on his door. He opens it and lets Lydia inside. Lydia hugs Aiden and kisses his cheek. "You look like you've been crying for hours! What happened?" they sit on the couch as she said that. "Well..I ran over my sister on accident and..she died," he said his voice cracking even more. She sighs and makes a sad face as he explains the whole story. She hugs him again and says "Well I'm glad it wasn't on purpose, then I would have been mad." she says. "She said she hated me right before she took her last breath.." he whispers. "Well I bet it's only because of what you did to her..I don't see any other reason why or how she would hate you," Lydia says. "Yeah I guess you're right about that." he smiles a bit. "You know you're not alone right?" she asks him. "Yeah, I have you, my parents, and Tyler." he smiles. Aiden hears another knock on his door. He gets up and goes to the door, wondering who was there. He opens the door, there was no one there. He steps outside and looks around. He turns and goes back inside, shutting the door behind him. "That was weird," Aiden says sitting back down on the couch. "Yeah, it was.." Lydia says a bit creeped out.  Aiden thought for a minute and asks Lydia "Do you believe in the paranormal type of thing?" She looks at Aiden, looking excited. "Yes...I do. I love ghosts and scary things!" she says quietly and smiling creepily. "Do...you think Jezebel is haunting me because of what I did?" he asks. "I don't know...maybe we'll have to find out."
