A Day in the Life of Death

Chapter 3

Aiden slowly opened it and looked at the bright white pages, almost every single page had things written on it. "Dear Diary, today at school, my social studies teacher let me have one of his skulls on his wall! It's so cool because it's a real human skull he found in the woods! It looks good with my black walls and all my witchcraft and underworld decor. Gotta go eat dinner, goodbye diary." Aiden read in his head, looking at one of the skulls on the wall. "Dear diary, today is June 9th and I was thinking to stay outside and enjoy the fresh air. My brother is going to get groceries for us later! He's the best brother ever. Goodbye diary." Aiden shed a tear after reading that page. He closes it and locks it again. He looks in her nightstand drawer and finds her MacBook. He opens it and puts in her password. He looks at her search history and looks at her most recent searches and he mostly sees "Underworld entities" and "Will I go to the underworld when I die" and it was searched up yesterday, the day she had died. He shed a few tears looking at her search history, mostly seeing things about death, the underworld, the pentagram, spirits, and entities. He closes her MacBook and puts it with her diary on her desk. He doesn't really see anything else he's interested in but he checks a few places just to make sure he wasn't going to miss anything. He goes out of her room, locking it again. He held her MacBook and her diary in his arms and Tyler and Lydia looked at him. "What did you find?" Lydia asks curiously. "I found a few pages in her diary and I looked through her search history a bit. She wouldn't want me to tell you guys and I wanna respect her feelings and wishes. Even if she hates me.." he whispers the last part of his sentence so he didn't feel like breaking out in tears again. "Whatever you say Aiden." Lydia shrugs. "Do you think she said anything in her will..? Like, left anything from her stuff to you? Like this house or something like that?" Tyler asks. Aiden looks at Tyler and says "I don't know..they might do the will reading in a week or something. Hopefully, I get the house because I was living with her, obviously. All her belongings will most likely go to my parents." Aiden says. "Yeah, I can imagine that since most of that stuff her parents bought I'm guessing," Lydia says. "She actually has been able to buy her own stuff for a while." Aiden shrugs. Everyone sits back on the couch to think about some stuff. They did a bit more research. Aiden had been looking at Jezebel's search history on her MacBook again. He found something that was kind of shocking. "Guys look," he says seriously. They look over his shoulder and gasp. "How to kill someone when you're dead" and Jezebel had searched it up just a few minutes ago...
