A Day in the Life of Death

Chapter 7

"Who the hell is Selena..?" Aiden asks himself out loud. Aiden takes the bag and jar out from under the bed and sets it on her bed. He examines the objects closely. He slowly opens the jar and smells the blood. "It's..still warm. How can that be?" He says quietly. He gets on his phone and looks up some more stuff on paranormal activity and murder in the underworld. His eyes widen as he reads "Yes, it is very possible for a spirit in the underworld to injure and/or kill someone on Earth. They can do it without putting much effort into it, since they have all the power in the world possible in the underworld. They may take blood and/or bones with them back to the underworld to feed themselves and/or others." He closes the jar again and looks at the bag of bones. He opens them up slowly with a rank smell in the air. He gags and picks a small bone up. "This is an arm.." he says quietly. He sets the bone back in the bag and zips it up. He pushes the jar and bag back under the bed and while seeing something else underneath her bed. He goes to grab it. It feels cold and he feels another bag. "More?" He pulls them out and reads the label on the other jar and bag. "Wylie Portman" it read. Aiden quickly gets his phone out and looks up the name. He could not find a Wylie Portman anywhere on the web, which surprised him. He quickly pushes everything back under the bed without looking for more. He gets out of her room and locks the door. As he walked to the kitchen to get a glass of water, he heard a loud crash coming from the guest room. He quickly runs in the room and sees that a vase with flowers had fallen over. There was blood coming out of the vase instead of water. "How..?" Aiden asks himself. He kneels down and smells the blood. He quickly sat back up and laid down on the floor. "I'm so dead."
