The bell of the shop jingles quietly, indicating that someone has entered her shop. Lily leaves the room in the back of the shop where she's been preparing some new bouquets.
"Why do I have a feeling you're not just here for your mothers?" she says when she see three boys standing in front of the counter with a sheepish smile on their faces
Her eyes immediatly catch the brown eyes, that had been staring at her in the club.
They didn't talk to each other that night, because his friend Eddie was trying to chat her up almost the entirety of the night."Well we are actually," Eddie speaks up. "It's Emile's mum's birthday today."
"And Emile couldn't come alone?"
"I could never pass up an opportunity to see you," Eddie winks.
Lily ignores Eddie's comments and turns her head back to Emile. "I'm actually working on some new bouquets, maybe your mum would like that?" She asks him with a smile
"Yeah that'd be nice," Emile smiles.
"Follow me," she walks to the back with all the boys behind her.
"So since we're Bukayo's friends and you're his best friend. Do we get a discount?" Ainsley grins.
"You guys make more money in a week than I do in an entire month. I don't think that'll be needed," Lily answers while she picks up the bouquet, she was working before the lads entered. "But you can have a 5% discount if you help me out a bit."
"Okay what do we do?" Eddie asks.
"You can tie together the bouquets in the vases. I'll show you how," Lily takes some cords and shows them how to tie the flowers together.
After that the boys immediatly start working, eager to get that discount. For a few minutes she observes them struggling to tie them together, especially Emile.
"You're doing it wrong. Let me help you." Lily takes the cord from Emile's hands and when their fingers brush over each other, she can hear him inhaling sharply.
She looks up at him and gives him a small smile. His brown eyes stare directly into hers. Softly she bites her lips and then she looks away to show Emile how it's done.
"Man's only said one sentence and already has a bigger chance of getting with her than us," Eddie mumbles quietly, which makes Ainsley stiffle a laugh.
