3: When we succeed

Gahyeon hasn't been able to see Sohee lately. With her taking over Minji's roles and Gahyeon being a full-fledged doctor, it's hard to meet up. A lot of their dates have been delayed, mainly because of the late filming sessions of Sohee and emergency patients of Gahyeon.

But they still remain as strong as ever.

Sohee decided to visit Gahyeon for her work. It's not her first time visiting, but it's definitely nerve-wracking every time she visits. Gahyeon was in Yoohyeon's office and told her girlfriend to go there instead. She knocked twice before she saw her girlfriend opening the door for her, with a smile on her face.

"Hi." Gahyeon said breathlessly. Sohee looked so pretty and she took her breath away. The older laughed and gave a peck on Gahyeon's cheek.

"Missed me?" Gahyeon opted to hold Sohee's hand and pulled her closer to her, giving her a kiss on her lips.

"Very. Come in." Sohee saw Yoohyeon with her back turned against the door and her face buried between her hands.

"What happened to her?" Sohee whispered to Gahyeon and the younger just smiled.

"Come on. I'll tell you." Sohee slowly walked across Yoohyeon. She knocked on the wooden table to get Yoohyeon's attention and saw that the younger had red, puffy eyes. She never wanted to see Yoohyeon in this state again. She just gave a small, comforting smile to the younger to assure her that it's okay.

Gahyeon gave a look to Yoohyeon, asking permission if she could tell her. Yoohyeon nodded and listened as Gahyeon told the story between Minji and Minhyeok.

After the story, Sohee got mad.

"What the fuck is his problem? I clearly told him to stay away from Minji years ago." Yoohyeon looked at Sohee with a confused face.

"W-what d-do you m-mean?" Sohee's heart broke with the sound of Yoohyeon's voice. Seems like she's been crying a lot. Gahyeon offered her best friend water and some tissues. Sohee sighed and said,

"H-he's been interested in Minji ever since. I don't know if it's pure intentions or something else. But he definitely looked at Minji for something else." Yoohyeon inched closer to Sohee.

"What is it?" Sohee couldn't look at Yoohyeon. She was debating whether to say it or not.

"What is it, Sohee? Please tell me." She bit her lip and looked at her girlfriend. Gahyeon was curious too but they couldn't force Sohee to say it. So she told Yoohyeon,

"Unnie, we can't force her to say it. Sohee, baby, look at me."

"It's okay. You don't have to tell us." Yoohyeon exhaled and calmed her heart down.

"I- I'm sorry, Sohee. I shouldn't have-"
