kind of butchered this, like, half way through it to the end but I couldn't give less of a shit.

-- THIRD PERSON POV --
"Please give us a statement!"
"How were you about to find the Hero Killer: Stain when even the most trained detectives and heroes were incapable of finding him?"
"What was is like fighting the Hero Killer, knowing that he murdered seventeen pro heroes and left twenty four crippled to the point they were not able to recover and forced to retire as pro heroes altogether?"
"Is it because it was done by three heroes that were in the top ten that you were able to subdue the Hero Killer?"
"What about the rising star interning under Miruko? It was said by her that he played a large part in taking him down."
Fukei ignored all the reporters as he stuck close to Miruko's side, using Hawks quirk to hide himself from the thousands of eyes and cameras, it was supposed to be simple patrolling around the city but when the police released a statement saying that the Hero Killer was finally apprehended, they couldn't reveal that it was Iida, Todoroki, Midoriya and himself that defeated him. It was still illegal to use their quirks without a license or proper supervision of a hero and they would get into a lot of legal problems, so that honor of capturing Stain was given to the pro heroes that were active during the assault of Hosu City, but some of the glory was given to Fukei because Miruko made an offhanded comment about how he kicked butt and the media interpreted it wrong and thought he was with them when they captured the Hero Killer. He feels absolutely awful about it, I mean, it was Midoriya and Iida who did the finishing blow on Stain and he only joined later on. The guilt of wanting to flee after stumbling upon them still lingered in his heart, even more so, those three were more injured than he was, and here he was getting all the glory all because of the stupid law. When he noticed that a couple of the news reporters were getting a little too close for his comfort, he shuffled back and hid himself deeper into the crimson wings. Miruko was the one answering most of the questions but soon she noticed his discomfort, she let out a soft sigh before kneeling down and launching herself up into the air. He let out a gasp but soon understood why she did that and flew after he, evidently leaving the horde of blood thirsty reporters.
"You really don't like reporters, do you kid?" Miruko asked once Fukei landed beside her on a building rooftop, he inhales deeply as he shook his head, bringing his hands up to hold his arms while the wings on his back hugged his body.
"They don't know the concept of personal space and they don't care if they're being pushy or not, makes me feel uncomfortable and trapped. I don't like it." she hums, nodding her head as she took a step forward "But now the media-- hell, the public believes that it was you, Hawks and that damn Endeavor that caught Stain." she laughs, moving his wings back so she could punch him in the shoulder.
"Don't forget about yourself, kid! You were actually there." he shook his head with a shrug.
"But I didn't play that significant of a roll in comparison to Midoriya-san, Todoroki-san and Iida-san. I feel so awful for taking the glory when it was the four of us, not just me. It's just so unfair." he lets out a long breath as he rubbed his face, he felt her push his wings open so he looked down to see what she was doing before letting out a long cry when she raised her leg up and kicked him in the crotch once more, she watched as he slowly fell to his knees then face planted onto the ground "Why did you do that? I don't believe that was necessary. Gosh, I am in pain. I did not like that." she rolled her eyes before kneeling down and eyeing his twitching figure.
"You're overthinking it, kid." she sighs "I get that you feel bad for taking the credit for something, hell, I don't like how it was pushed onto us as well because I didn't even get to feel the thrill of taking down such a high class villain. How much of a threat was he anyways? Is he as dangerous as the media makes him out to be?" she watched as he turned his head to look up at her, a slight look of irritation in his eyes.
