"Mummy"
Little hands were pushed in front of me making grabbing gestures, laughing to myself I pulled the blueberry muffin of the little plate in front of me and placing it on my sons high chair ensuring I took the paper off first before cutting it up so it was easier for him to eat.
"Are you coming to watch us play tonight? I know Clary said she would try and persuade you"
Quickly placing a small crumb in the little hands I took a small bite for myself before paying my full attention back on to Simon sitting across from me.
"I'm gonna see if my mum will look after this little one I'm sure she won't mind"
Looking past Simon I caught a glimpse of the strawberry blonde we were waiting on, waving her over I went up to the counter and quickly ordered another hot drink for Clary, before heading back and placing it in front of her. Taking a seat on the other side of the high chair seeing as my once seat was occupied by Clary fussing over Aiden.
"Thank you. You know, it's weird. They kind of liked my assigned work, but they flipped out over the drawings for our graphic novel"
"Your welcome"
Rolling my eyes I checked the time on my phone before slowly starting to gather all my stuff together while the two carried on talking and simon admiring her. Grabbing the stroller I put my bag on the handle and gently grabbed Aiden, placing him tightly in.
"Sorry I couldn't stay long I have to shoot, love you and congratulations I knew you could do it. See you at home"
I walked backwards pushing the door open with my back before Turing the stroller around, just as I got Aiden safely out the door I was pushed forward dropping the once hot latte on the pavement.
Looking up I quickly apologised to the tall man I had bumped into turning to grab a napkin and dabbing his T-shirt a little where I caught him.
"I'm so sorry I thought I had that mastered by now"
After I got no reply I looked up to see him staring at me in shock
"Wait you can see me?"
I took a quick glance around me before looking back to him.
"Am I not supposed to"
Laughing it off I turned back around to Aiden and started on my way giving the stranger one last glance.
