Alec's pov
"What the hell were you thinking letting her walk all the way here like that while you swoon over her"
Pointing to the red head sleeping on the bed.
"Look she said she was okay, I didn't know she was injured"
Wailing cries snapped both me and Jace from our little spat, turning around Izzie comes through the door looking as stressed as ever with the little baby on her hip.
"Guys a little help, I've tried everything he just won't stop"
Jace goes over taking him away from Izzie bouncing him a little to try and soothe his cries but if anything they get louder I can't help the laugh that erupts from me watching Jace become defeated by a defenceless little human. He starts walking over to me holding the baby arms width away.
"No,no,no"
taking quick steps back I put my hands up in protest before he's gently shoved into my arms. Readjusting him so he looks a little bit more comfortable I copy Jace's actions from earlier gently rocking him, and to my surprise he lays his head on my shoulder with his thumb in his mouth. No more crying, looking up I see Izzie smile slightly.
"Shut up"
"I didn't say anything"
Out of instinct I place a light kiss to his head of curls taking him out of the room over to where the blonde beauty slept.
Graces pov
My eyes painfully open blinking a few times they finally adjust them selves, looking around I notice I'm in a room I don't recognise. Pulling the covers back I swing my legs around welcoming the cold floor against my bare feet, taking a few seconds for myself I brace myself standing up squinting slightly.
Running my hands through my very knotted hair I slowly make my way out of the room to be met with a load more doors all looking identical deciding to go to the left I carried on down the corridor stopping out side one hearing a few different voices on the opposite side, putting my ear to door I tried to listen to the conversation they were having.
"Where is here exactly?"
Recognising Clary's voice I pull the door open all heads in my direction. Clary was sat on the bed, a raven haired girl sat next to her and Jace and Alec stood not to far from the bed my eyes lingered on Alec a little longer noticing he had Aiden in his arms. Without saying anything I slowly made my way over to my baby boy taking him from his arms and hugging him as close as I possibly could.
"Hey, you shouldn't be walking about let's get you back to your room"
Looking up I was once again met with the hazel eyes from before nodding my head we start back out the room heading back to the one I was recently in.
"How are you feeling? you took a nasty hit"
Walking over to the bed I place Aiden right in the centre so he couldn't roll off.
"A little sore but I'm not complaining"
He sits himself on the edge of the bed taking Aiden's little hand in his pulling silly faces at him making him squeal with laughter.
"Well you need to take it easy, there's a lot that's happened that you need to prepare yourself for"
We're interrupted by the door opening to reveal the girl from earlier.
"Hiya, I'm Isabella but you can call me Izzie. We're gonna get along great I can already tell"
I laugh before introducing myself properly, while me and Izzie have a good conversation I look over to Alec leaning over Aiden playing peek a boo.
"He's took to him really well, I've never seen my brother quite like this before"
Smiling back to her we carry on talking mainly Izzie filling me in with everything that's happened and explaining a little about shadow hunters.
