My Hero Academia: The Rise of Ben 10, Book 3

The Dark Space Station

"HERRRRMEEERRRGERRRRRRDD!!" Ben roared as he was pressed against his seat, witnessing the sky turn from blue to black through the viewing monitor that covered the massive cockpit's front. "I'M A PAAAANCAAAAKE!"

"THIS IS WHAT IT MEANS.. TO BE A MAAAAAANNN!" roared Kirishima as his skin reflexively hardened more and more thanks to the experience of the force on his body. 

"Gahahahahaha.. ahaaaaahaaa.. oh it hurts to laaaaugh HAAA but it's so FUNNY HAAAA!" Kyoka laughed painfully as she stared at Denki Kaminari, who had accidentally smacked his seatbelt loose and was now lying upside down and on a bemused Sato's face with drool flying from his mouth. 

"Meh.. whatever." Rachel muttered, her book open and flattened against her face. 

Suddenly, darkness and silence as Denki Kaminari began to float like a corpse in water through the air, moaning as he went. 

"Activating artificial gravity." said Tetrax.

"WHAAAM!" Denki fell face first into the floor.

"Mmmmmmgggghhh" Denki moaned as Tokoyami stooped down to check on him. 

" That was amazing!" said Helen breathlessly, her tail twitching in delight. "I.. I don't think I've ever launched up in a spaceship before! I.. I mean my mom has.. b.. but.."

"Is your mom like an alien Wheels-san?" asked Izuku as he massaged his chest and stood up. "Th-that's amazing! Is she as fast as XLR8?"

"I.. I think so.. our speed gets greater as we get older, so she's at her peak.." Helen stammered. "M-meh, sorry I.. I.. know we're in the same school.. but I've never really interacted with the rest of you.. and.. these past weeks, other students have been giving me a wide berth and.."

Izuku frowned. He should've figured. Many students must've made the connection themselves after Ben became more widely known. It wasn't as if the difference between her and XLR8 was all too striking other than gender. "Wh-wheels-san, really we're not at all like that. Don't worry-."

As Izuku continued to converse with Helen, Ochaco pressed her face against the window on the side of the cockpit. "Oh.. ohhhh.. I.. I didn't think.. we.. we'd be out this far already.."

Tetrax smiled at Ochaco's wonder. "How does it look? Heheh, yeah I was amazed my first time as well.. even with space travel being as common as it is, you can never deny how it first feels."

The rest of the class went to join Ochaco, and their jaws dropped open.

"My word.." Momo's eyes teared up as she stared out . 

"W-we already got to SATURN!?" screamed Katsuki. "Th-.. THAT'S FUCKING SATURN!!"

Indeed, the massive gaseous giant of a planet, in spite of how large of a distance it was away, took up the entire window with its massive size, only part of its rings visible, as a few moons were visible as tiny dots crossing the surface. 

"Saturn's usually the Go Point in your Solar System for setting up the Wermdel Drive." said Tetrax. 

"Wermdel?" said Ben. 

"You might've noticed that though we only just passed through Earth's atmosphere, we somehow quietly ended up next to Saturn without coming into contact with any obstacles such as asteroids or debris, which should've been an obvious point of contact due to the issue of the Asteroid Belt." said Tetrax.  "That's because we didn't travel across space at all. It's actually physically impossible to travel faster than light speed."

"I heard about that." said Shoto. "I read up some books on space travel theories developed by NASA after I learned about the trip."

"Was that the night we came to your place and watched Interstellar while your sister made Lasagna?" Ben asked.
