YUNHYEONG POV
"Oh Yunhyeong! How are you?" Chanwoo's mom said.
"I'm good! Is Chanwoo home?"
"Yeah he's sleeping upstairs. What brings you here?"
"Oh. I had some clothes to drop off cause he left them in our room."
"Okay. Well you can go upstairs to his room and wake him up. I'll make breakfast for you guys before I head to work."
"Okay. Thank you!"
I walk upstairs and go inside his room. It didn't look like a typical boys room. It was all organized and neat. He had posters on the wall of 2NE1 and Big Bang.
Chanwoo was asleep, all cuddled up inside his sheets. I try to shake him and wake him up. "Chanwoo-yah," I said, but no response.
I kiss his forehead and of course he wakes up with a confused look on his face.
"Yunhyeong..what are you doing here?"
"I came to drop off your shirt you left in my room. Why haven't you contacted me in so long?"
"I haven't been on my phone. I've been trying to avoid social media since what happened."
"But why?"
"Because it hurt losing.."
"So what have you been doing this whole time?" I asked.
"Honestly? I've just been in my house, sleeping and eating."
"Wait so since you haven't been on your phone, did you not hear from YG that you could continue to practice at the studio for a year?"
"No. But just hearing that doesn't really help. I don't wanna come back. It'll just hurt too much."
"Well why does it hurt?"
"Because of many reasons.."
"Like..."
"I just didn't want to lose. I lost so much confidence in myself and I really wanted to not be seen," Chanwoo said.
"Then why haven't you bothered to contact me? You know how worried I was about you?" I asked.
"I'm sorry Yunhyeong. I didn't mean to.."
Chanwoo's mom walks in mid conversation. "Hey boys. I made breakfast! Go eat!" she said.
We both go downstairs and sit down. Its just us two since Chanwoo's mom had to leave for work thank goodness. Now its more private.
"Oh there's lots of food. Tell your mom I said thank you," I said.
"Of course. And can I tell you something?" Chanwoo asked.
"Sure what is it?"
"Life hasn't been the same without you. I know I haven't contacted you in awhile, but it hurts not seeing you every day, not being able to practice with you, and not having you next to me when I sleep. As bad as I want you to see me more often, I know you can't visit because I live so far and you have to prepare for the debut."
"Well that's why I really came by today. It wasn't because of your shirt. It's because I was scared. I had no idea what was going on with you and it really hurt me that you didn't contact me. I was going crazy on the inside."
"But hyung, you shouldn't worry so much about me. You have iKON's debut to worry about."
"But then I'd be a bad boyfriend. I promised you I'd be here no matter what remember? So let me be here too. I know I won't be able to see you often, but we have to work with what we have in the meantime until my schedule gets less hectic. Are you willing to do that?"
"I will do my best. I just wish I could see you daily like I used to.." Chanwoo said, before he began tearing up. He wouldn't even look at me. He just stared at his food.
"Trust me its not going to be like this forever. We have to work with this and a solution will be presented at some point. We just have to be patient okay? Just trust me on this."
"Hey, look at me," I said. Chanwoo still wouldn't look at me though, so I grab some noodles with my chopsticks and move it towards him. "Baby, eat this."
He looks up and eats the noodles I feed him. "Smile Chanwoo. You look better when you smile." He smiles right after I said that.
"Thank you.." he said.
"Its no problem. Just doing my job. Oh by the way, do your parents know about this?"
"About what?"
"About..us?" I asked. He's been home for weeks. I assumed he told them considering how nice his mom was to me.
"I haven't. I'm scared to. Their feelings about it in general aren't so positive. I just don't know what they'd think about me."
"I understand where you're coming from. I haven't told my parents yet, and I'm not ready either. Does anyone else know?" I asked.
"Besides the members? No," he said.
"Then maybe we should keep it that way til we're ready. Who knows if someone would reveal it to the world?"
"Well you should be more careful since you're an idol now. Everyone's going to try and get in your business or find out anything regarding your personal life."
"I will be. Anyways are you doing anything today?"
"Nope. Just staying home like usual."
"Let's go out. I have the day off."
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah I haven't seen you in forever. Let's go to the cafe or something."
We go in the car and drive to the closest cafe. "Hyung, can you sing for me again?" he asked.
"What song do you want me to sing?"
"Sing a 2NE1 song please," he requested.
"Naega jeil jal naga!"
"Hyungggggg I'm serious!" He said with this look on his face. >:(
"We're almost here though!"
"Fine, but you owe me next time."
"Okay deal."
We arrive at the cafe and Chanwoo orders for the both of us since he knows what I wanted. I find a table for us to sit at while he waits for our drinks.
Once our drinks are done, he walks to our table, sets our drinks down, and pulls open the chair opposite of me. He doesn't sit in it though. He's staring at some girl behind me for some reason and asks her something.
"Uh....what are you doing here?"
A/N: So who's the girl Chanwoo is talking to? If you read the prequel, you'll know! :P
I've been trying to work hard on getting these parts done. Please be patient with me! Its harder writing this fanfic than the prequel!
