Part 6: I Trust You

Its Wednesday; the day of iKON's flight to Japan for about two weeks for promotions and opening up for Big Bang's concert. The boys have been practicing day and night.

Chanwoo and Yunhyeong haven't been hanging out because of the hectic scheduling and lack of rest Yunhyeong has been getting, but they have been communicating through text.

YUNHYEONG POV

"Hey. My flight is soon. I don't think I'll be able to text you while I'm in Japan, but I can message you on Line if I have WiFi," I texted to Chanwoo.

"Okay hyung. Have a safe flight okay? Just message me when you can! （＾3＾）" he responded.

And it was time for my flight. I board the plane with the other members and we don't decide who sits next to who. I ended up with a window seat while having Jinhyeong next to me.

"So how's Chanwoo?" he asked me.

"He's good. I haven't seen him though so its been hard. How about you and your girlfriend?"

"Oh we've been okay. I actually saw her early this morning. That's why I wasn't home while you guys were packing."

"Is that why you packed early last night?"

"Yeah you caught me!"

"Don't worry I won't tell!"

"He he thanks hyung. Thanks for being here. I'm still getting close to the other members and I thought it was hard to get close to you and Junhoe."

"I understand with Junhoe. He was hard for me to get close to also at first cause he doesn't seem social, but look at him with Donghyuk."

"Yeah Junhoe isn't as scary as I thought he was at first."

"Did you think I was?" I asked out of curiosity.

"Kind of. I think it was more of cause you were closer with Hongseok and Chanwoo. I thought you didn't like me."

"It wasn't that! I don't have any issues with you. You're a cool and trustworthy roommate. And you've been the only one here for me since it's been the 7 of us."

"Whew well hearing that is a relief. Were both on a similar boat with our relationships which is why I can trust you. Thank you hyung!"

"Of course! We should double date sometime!" I suggested.

"That sounds like fun actually! Maybe when we get back from Japan, yeah?"

"Sounds like a plan!"

I liked how close me and Jinhyeong have gotten. I thought I would have trouble getting close to him because of the results, but us being roommates has been nice. I feel comfortable talking to him about Chanwoo.

Our flight is on the way to Japan now. The other members are doing their own thing. Hanbin listening to music, Bobby napping with his Pooh Bear, Junhoe and Donghyuk playing a game on the tablet, Jinhwan reading, and Jinhyeong napping on my shoulder. I didn't have much to do so I took a selfie with Jinhyeong on my shoulder before I napped alongside him.
