The answer is yes. Well how did he know? You asked him out on a date. Once those words atsushi, himself wanted to say, you said.

His faces went to a red as he nervously stutterd. "S-sure I would love too [y/n]-chan" he mentally panicked. He didn't want to come off as nervous. It really is a bad habit of his isn't it.
