The hours passed by and it was getting dark. There had still been no word from Rose. As the other kids sat in the tree, they couldn't help but wonder what was occurring inside.
"It's getting late," Emma said as the sun began to set. "Where is Rose?"
"She's probably trying to remain under cover, da?" Natie stated.
"Oui. She does not want zhem to find out zhat she is only trying to get information out of zhem," Allison agreed.
"I hope she gets the information fast, aru. I'm getting cold," Chen shivered.
Katrina bit her lower lip. She didn't like Rose being in the situation to begin with. "Maybe ve should go in to check on her," Katrina suggested. "She could be in trouble."
"No. We'll only endanger Rose and ourselves if we just go charging in," Amelia said.
"Amelia's right dudette," Amanda added. "Unless we want to get caught, we gotta stay hidden and you know that."
Katrina sighed. "Ja I know." Still, I feel uneasy about this vhole thing. Katrina then glanced over at Tye and saw the worried look on his face. Then again, Tye must feel the most uneasy. After all, it is his cousin that is in there.
Meanwhile, inside, Rose was playing hide-n-seek with Flavio. She tried to stop from giggling as Flavio called out her name. She couldn't though and soon she was picked up from behind the couch by Flavio and then thrown back onto the couch playfully. "Looks like I win Rose," Flavio told the little girl.
Rose giggled and then glanced up to see that Luciano was on the phone talking to someone. She couldn't make out everything but she did hear him say something like this; "Gather the others and come as soon as possible."
After he hung up, Rose went over to Luciano and pulled on his arm. "Papa, do you wanna play with me and Zio Romano?" She asked.
"Not right now bambina. Your Papa has important things that he needs to take care of," Luciano explained.
"Okay Papa," Rose sighed as she looked at the floor. That's when she yawned.
"Oh looks like someone is tired~," Flavio said as Rose rubbed her eyes.
"No I'm *yawns* not," Rose protested.
"Yes you are ragazza and I think that Luci should put you to bed,"
"Don't call me Luci!" Luciano shouted. "Fine, I'll put Rose to bed." He picked Rose up from off of the floor and then began carrying her towards her room. Along the way, Rose placed her head on Luciano's shoulder. "You must be really tired, aren't you ragazza?"
Rose nodded, adding in a yawn.
"Well we're almost to your room so you can get some sleep."
When Luciano reached Rose's room, he placed her on the bed and tucked her in. "Buonanotte Papa," Rose said as she started to drift off to sleep.
"Buonanotte bambina," Luciano said as he began walking out of the room. However, he stopped when Rose called out for him.
"Papa?"
"Si bambina?"
"I don't understand why all my friends are scared of their Papas."
"They're scared are they?" Rose couldn't see the evil smirk on his face. He changed the smirk into a concerned look as he turned to face Rose again. "Are you scared Rose?"
Rose shook her head. "No, I'm not scared Papa."
"That's good to hear. Now it's time to get some sleep bambina."
Just as Luciano turned away, he felt something wrap around his waist. He looked down to see that it was Rose hugging him. He knelt down and was about to get mad at her for not being in bed when she gave him a kiss on his cheek. He was shocked and watched as Rose climbed back into bed. No one had actually given him a kiss before, besides the few girls he "dated", so having the little girl kiss him was a surprise.
When Rose was asleep Luciano left the room and tried to figure out what was going on. He felt, warm inside, which was something he hadn't felt before. What was the little girl doing to him?
"You all right Luci?" Luciano looked up and then saw his brother looking at him.
"Don't call me Luci!" Luciano growled.
Flavio could only giggle at Luciano's anger. He liked to see Luciano flustered. That's when he noticed that his brother had a strange look on his face. "Are you all right Luciano? You seem like you're thinking about something."
"It's none of your concern. Are the others coming?" Luciano wanted to change the subject very badly.
"Si. They should be arriving shortly."
Meanwhile, outside in the tree, all the children had managed to fall asleep in the tree. They each were in a somewhat comfortable position, trying to catch as much sleep as possible.
Amanda was the first to wake-up when she heard people walking towards the house. She rubbed the sleep out of her eyes and yawned softly before hearing voices. "Guys," she whispered. "Wake-up."
The others soon began to stir, not liking the fact that they woke-up to find that they were still in a tree. "What's wrong Amanda?" Amelia yawned.
"Someone's coming."
All the children stayed silent as they saw figures emerge from the woods and walk towards the house. Right away, the capitals knew it was the 2Ps because their apperance were altered from the regular 1Ps. Some of them carried weapons with them as they walked to the door. Gilen was the one to knock on the door and a few moments later Flavio answered it. "Ciao everyone~," Flavio greeted. "Please come inside."
As the 2Ps walked inside, the capitals could only imagine the reason they were there. Once the 2Ps were all inside, Flavio closed the door again. The capitals all looked at each other, trying to figure out what to do. "What are we going to do, aru?" Chen asked. "They're inside. How are we suppose to find out what they are planning? Plus we still haven't gotten word from Rose."
Amelia then began to move from her position in the tree and started to descend the tree. She walked towards the house and quietly opened the front door before ushering the others to follow her inside. At first, no wanted to follow her down. However, Amanda shrugged her shoulders and then climbed down from the tree as well. Soon, all the capitals were down from the tree and entering the house.
What awaits our beloved capitals? Find out next time.
