Severus apparated to Spinner's End, intending to fly the rest of the way from there. His destination was in The mountains of Wales, where whispers of a powerful wizard had transcended mere rumor, and claims of magical happenings had reached the Ministry. It was known by only a few that the wizard had defied decrees from the Ministry of Magic, and had chosen to remain autonomous, and was therefore considered rogue in the eyes of the Ministry.
None of that was any concern to Severus, and only his desperate desire to save Sirana from the curse that befell her drove him to seek the wizard's unique magical abilities. He had relied on Dumbledore once again, via his portrait, to lead him. What he would find there was still clouded in uncertainty, but he knew he would not forbear the journey for the risk.
As Severus flew through the night sky, his own dark clouded form streaking swiftly, he replayed the terrible night of the curse in his mind: Sirana's naked form lay before him. The moonlight shone on her, beautifully illuminating the curves of her body. She smiled at Severus as she removed the pinnings from her hair and then used her hands to spread her lovely tresses out above her head. Severus watched every seductive movement as he stood above her, leisurely removing his own clothes.
Tonight was the first night of their honeymoon, and the tedious planning and then the long travel into the countryside was about to prove it's worth.
Mr. and Mrs. Snape had taken their dinner and wine down to the scenic lake side, feeling the freedom of being completely isolated from civilization in their cabin surrounded by rugged hillside. Severus had spread out his robe, making a makeshift picnic blanket for their midnight rendezvous. Any of their tiredness from the long day was carried away by the Elf-made wine and their unquenchable thirst for each other. Severus felt his groin tighten with the lovely vision of her before him and the thoughts that ran through his mind of what he intended to do to her.
As it seemed were in the cards for them from the beginning, their lives had not lessened in complications, and they had been forced to spend the months leading up to their nuptials apart from each other. Severus often indulged in reminiscence of their time together at Hogwarts, when he and Sirana first met, when he had her all to himself. So much had transpired since then, for them both, but he still cherished the rare moments they found to spend time alone together.
Between the Order, the Ministry, and establishing The Refuge, the almost yearlong stretch of struggle, hard work, and sacrifice had finally led them here. Severus couldn't imagine anywhere other than here that he would rather be at this moment, alone with his soulmate, gifted to each other by his first love, made of magic that defied the constraints of time and fate.
As Severus shed the remainder of his clothes, even the cool breeze from the lake did nothing to cool the heat emanating from him. "Mmm, Severus," he heard her say, beckoning him to join her on the ground. He lowered onto his knees, straddling her hips, his hands on his thighs, relishing in the view and sensation of her gently writhing underneath him in anticipation of the consummation of their vows. He had been waiting for this moment, dreaming of it, and he did not intend on rushing to its end. He would endure his hot-blooded anticipation, and hers as well, a moment longer.
He slowly thrust his hips forward, mimicking entering her, provoking a low moan from her. His own stomach tightened inside, and he groaned as the movement sent a course of electric energy through him. All of his nerves were heightened, and he could feel the air gently caressing his bare skin in sharp contrast with the heat of Sirana under him. His eyebrow rose as he watched her slowly move her hand down to him, and he grunted, then sucked in a breath through his teeth as she grasped him at his base. She stroked him slowly as he watched, moving her hips in synch, teasing him in turn. He finally had more than he could withstand, and grabbed her wrists to pin them next to her head, lowering his mouth to within a breath of hers. "My witch, it would seem that I am still bound by your enchantments. This is your last chance to release me from your spell, or we will be bound together forever, until death do us part," Severus said huskily, looking into her blazing blue eyes, searching for the reassurance he knew awaited him, without a shadow of a doubt, as he was as sure of their shared fate as anything in his life.
Sirana's eyes, veiled with love and passion for him, flashed with her quick smile, "My wizard, I would never deny the magic that brought us together, nor could I resist that which commands my body and my heart to answer to yours. If it is truly still an enchantment, I would not refuse to submit to its allure. By choice, I am bound to you forever, and may even death not sever our bond."
Severus heard her words, said with the passion and love that he also felt, and it heated his ever present desire for her. His body dropped to hers as their lips joined, and they moaned in unison, their desperate breaths almost lost in the winds of the fire that consumed them.
