When Henry heard the news his heart broke in two. He threw the newspaper on his bed with anger, the headline burned into his brain: 'Breaking News: Alex Claremont-Diaz Engaged to Actress Ophelia Avery'.

The morning after he heard the news he acted as if nothing had happened. "You seem... normal," Bea said with a confused look on her face.

"Why wouldn't I be, Alex and I have been over for two years," Henry responded.

Bea didn't understand why he was so calm about it but she left him alone and went about her day.

A week after he heard the news Henry was in pain, but he was afraid it was too late to tell anyone. He spent his days and nights thinking about how he had let Alex slip away, why hadn't he told Alex that he never got over him.

Bea was cautious around Henry, she had her suspicions about how her brother was feeling but she didn't want to be the one to intrude.

Two weeks after he heard the news Henry had a mental breakdown. After bottling his emotions inside, pretending not to care, pretending he was over Alex he just couldn't deal with the pain anymore. Henry broke down in tears, Bea's arm wrapped around him while she wiped his tears away.
"It hurts, It hurts, I just can't do this anymore,"
Henry cried.
Bea held him in her arms until he fell asleep.

When Henry woke Bea was still awake, and she had made him a cup of earl grey tea. He could tell she was tired but she brushed it off. Henry felt better but his heart would probably never be the same.

A month after Henry heard the news, Alex was still all he could think about but the initial shock had subsided.

Three months after Henry heard the news, his life had gone almost completely back to normal besides from the occasional news station talking about updates and gossip on Alex's engagement.

Six months after Henry heard the news, an invitation arrived at Kensington Palace.

For a moment henry was in shock, but then a second wave of emotions hit him. His heart broke yet again and this time Bea knew how he really felt.

Henry lay in his bed the invitation on his bedside table, his eyes puffy and his cheeks stained with tears. What was going through Alex's goddamn mind, why the hell did he invite Henry.

"Henry?" Bea asked. "Are you ok?"

Henry didn't respond. Bea walked in and sat on his bed noticing the invitation on the table. She laid beside him and hugged him.

"I really can't do this anymore, It hurts Bea."
Henry sobbed. " I dont think I can go on anymore, I miss him so much but he's moved on and..."

"Shh" Bea said hugging him tighter. "It'll all be ok"

Bea let him cry and cry until he couldn't anymore. "You can go now, I want to be alone" Henry said.

Soon after Bea had left henry made a decision one he'd probably regret...
