George's POV

In all honesty, I lied. I wasn't filming with Tommy today I just need a break from everyone. Even though I 100% knew that it would be better for my mental health if I spent time with anyone, I just needed a break and to come to terms with what I had told my mum yesterday. It was currently Wednesday the day before my mum was moving to Florida. I spend most of yesterday lying on my bed staring at the ceiling contemplating the shortness and sadness of life, feeling very sorry for myself when I had a realisation. I HAD AMERICAN CITIZENSHIP. When I was younger before my parents separated I got American citizenship because my father was from Orlando. It never really dawned on me until then when I realised that I could pack up and move to Florida with my mum for a while and maybe come back to England later. I had grabbed my phone and found my mum's contact - hoping that she would be awake. After a few rings my mum answered and before she could say anything I practically yelled:

"MUM I'M MOVING TO AMERICA WITH YOU" I took a few deep breaths in realising that the decision I just made would change my life forever. There was silence on the line before my mum finally understood what I had said.

"Oh no. No. You are not coming to America with me. I am not letting you." She said slowly and sternly wanting to make sure that I understood.

"Why?" I was confused. And hurt. She had three months left on this planet and she wanted to spend them apart from me?

I heard a sigh from the other end of the call. "Georgie I love you so much but you can't give up what you have made of your life here for me. We both knew something like this was going to happen but I don't want you wasting your life for me." There was a muffled sob from my mum and I had felt my heart break. I gulped and felt anger bubble up in my stomach. My mother meant everything to me and I wasn't going to let her stop me from moving.

"Mum. I know you don't want me to come with you. I am 22 there is nothing that you can do to stop me. So I will see you tomorrow at the airport and then again one week later in Florida. I love you so much and have a nice evening." I spoke in monotone not wanting to show the heartbreak that I was feeling. Pulling the phone away from my face I hung up and exhaled the breath I didn't know I was holding. I sat in silence for a minute revelling in what had just happened.

"HOLY SHIT I'M MOVING TO AMERICA!"

Just a short chapter today. The next couple chapters are about George telling everyone so yeah. Have a stupendous day!!
