I got a text from Jennie.

Jennie: i got invited to a party tonight... want to come with?

Roseanne: sure :)

I'm just happy it wasn't with Jimin this time.

I got ready and waited for her to pick me up.

"So who's party is this anyway?" I asked.

"No idea, someone from one of my classes told me about it while we were discussing the homework," she said.

"Cool," I said.

The party was packed, mostly with drunk people.

I followed Jennie to the drink table and she poured us something in solo cups.

I took small sips while we walked around, seeing what everyone was doing.

"Why don't we play spin the bottle?" she said.

I rolled my eyes, "what happened to swearing off guys?"

"Oh come on, it'll be fun," she said.

I sat down next to her and watched as everyone spun it.

It was her turn. She spun the bottle until it landed on me.

Everyone turned to look at us. We looked at each other, my face turned beet red. I had been waiting for this moment for a long time but I just couldn't bring myself to make the first move unless she was okay with it first. It was hard to read her.

"Come on lesbos, kiss," said some random guy.

She looked at me, shrugged, then she kissed me. It felt like fire works on the Fourth of July. I felt my body melt and serotonin levels sky rocket.

After what felt like a lifetime, we both pulled away and then awkwardly looked away while everyone else kept playing. We got up and walked over somewhere else, acting as if it never happened.

The next day, Jennie came over after we fully recovered from the night before. I decided not to bring up the kiss because she was probably too drunk to even remember it.

To my surprise, the first thing that came out of her mouth was, "can we talk about the party last night?"

"What about it?" I asked.

"That game we played."

"Spin the bottle?"

"Yes."

"Okay.." I said.

"The kiss," she said, "I didn't really process it at first but once I finally sobered up, I realized what had happened. I realized that I liked it, a lot. It gave me a feeling that a kiss with any guy has never given me."

"Really?" I asked, in disbelief that this is even happening.

"I think I might be a lesbian, or at least bisexual," she said.

"I'm a lesbian," I finally admitted.

"Really?"

"Yes, and I've liked you for a while now," I said.

"I like you too," she said.

"Will you go to prom with me?" I asked.

"Yes, I'd love to," she said.
