In The Closet (COMPLETE)

Chapter 7

"I need to talk to you, it's important," said Jennie.

"What is it?" I asked.

"I went to a party this weekend," she said.

"Okay?"

"With Jimin," she said.

"My friend Jimin?" I asked.

"Yes," she said.

"So what happened?" I asked, a little hurt as to why I wasn't included.

"Well I got a little drunk and I ended up hooking up with him."

My heart sank.

"I'm so so so sorry, I know you liked him and I would have never done it but I was just so drunk and he talked me into it-"

I interrupted her, "I'm not mad at you, I promise, but I have to go."

"It will never happen again, I promise," she said.

"I believe you, I'll talk to you later," I said and I stormed off to go find him.

I saw him at his locker and I slammed it shut.

"What the hell, Jimin?"

"What?"

"I know what you did and I cannot believe you."

He rolled his eyes, "it's pretty clear that she is straight and wants to fuck a real man."

"You took advantage of her dude, stay away from her," I said, "and stay away from me too, this friendship is over."

I ran to the closest bathroom to cry.

I got a text from Jennie.

Jennie: are you mad at me? :( I promise I won't talk to him again

Roseanne: no I'm not mad :) I'm sorry he took advantage of you though

Jennie: i know, guys suck :(

Roseanne: do you want to go shopping this weekend?

Jennie: just the two of us?

Roseanne: if you want

Jennie: I'd love to :) I'm done with guys for good now -.-

Okay Jennie, let's see how long that lasts this time.

Everytime I feel like I'm so close, she runs along to another new guy. I'm starting to think I should just give up and just stay friends instead.

I picked up Jennie and we went to the mall.

"I need a dress for graduation," I said.

"Me too," she said.

We started looking through endless racks of dresses until we each found a white dress that we liked.

We both went in to try them on and they fit perfectly.

"I think we found our dresses," I said.

Afterwards, we got drinks at Starbucks and just walked around the mall.

"Have you noticed Jisoo has been really distant lately?" asked Jennie.

"Yeah, I think it's mainly because she's too pregnant to really enjoy senior year," I said.

"It's too bad, but I mean it was her fault," she said.

"Exactly, there's nothing we can do about it," I said.

Jennie sent a text in the group chat with Jisoo and me.

Jennie: come over NOW it's an emergency.

I rushed over as soon as I could.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

"I'm late," she said.

"With your period?" asked Jisoo.

She nodded.

"Seriously?" I exclaimed.

"Come on Jennie, I'm 6 months pregnant, you do not want to be like me," said Jisoo.

"We need to go to Lotte right now," she said.

We drove to Lotte and she picked up a pack of pregnancy tests.

We went into the restroom with her and waited. We waited for what felt like an eternity until both tests ended up being negative.

"Thank goodness," said Jennie.

I gave her a hug, "don't scare me like that ever again, okay?"

"I won't, I promise," she said, "I've sworn off guys."

"Yeah, don't end up like me," said Jisoo.

"Speaking of you Jisoo, prom is only a month away so maybe we can go prom shopping today," Jennie suggested.

"Yeah, I'd like that," she said.

We got back into the car and drove to the mall.

It wasn't easy but we found a few dresses that suited her pregnant belly.

"I think I'll go with this one," she said about a long black but stretchy gown.

"It looks great on you," I said.

"I love it," said Jennie.

She bought the dress and we went back home. I was so relieved that Jennie wasn't pregnant, I think my heart would just break.
