Chapter 3- Making an escape

sorry but this chapter is gonna be a bit shorter than the last 2.😔

"So... what do we do now?" You ask while looking at your new "group". "Well, first of all we need to get out of here." says the anonymous boy standing next to Joey. "And I need to know your name" you say. "I'm Alex." he says. "Hey Alex. I'm A-" "Aylin Law, yeah I know you. I'm pretty sure everyone does." You get angry but embarrassed. Everyone knows you because of what happened..."Oh kayy?" Syera says awkwardly. "Yeah as I was saying need to get out of here. But first, we must arm ourselves." says Alex looking away from you. "Yeah he's right. There are some baseball bats and golf clubs in the sports shed. We could get weapons from there?" suggests Joey. You all nod in agreement. Once you look down at the ground below you, you notice that most of those creatures have shambled off. You take this as a green light, but you realise that you've missed a bit of what the group was talking about when you hear Joey say "Okay so we're all on the same page right?" Everyone says, yes. But you say, "Huh? Sorry I wasn't listening..." while feeling embarrassed. Joey puts his head in his hand. "Classic Aylin. Always being ignorant." says Joey while sounding annoyed. "Well sorry that your voice is annoying." You mutter under your breath, making sure he hears you. "Why are you always like this?" he raises his voice a little. "Woah, let's calm down a bit okay? We don't want to be fighting with  zombies down there" says Syera, trying to calm you two down. "Don't say that!" Shouts Alex. "What?" says Syera looking startled. "Zombies, they're not real okay!?" says Alex while getting a bit angry. "Whatever they are they're dangerous and they can kill. We have to be careful." You say while looking around at your group. "Anyways, this is our plan. Number 1, we go to the sport shed and get weapons. Number 2, we get out of the school and find a place to sleep. That's it. Are we ready?" asks Joey. "Hold on, maybe I missed a part but how are we gonna get out of the school without transport? Don't we need a car or something?" you ask. Silence. "Yeah I didn't think of that part..." Alex says while scratching his head. "Yeah me too." says Joey. "But I think I have an idea... we'll need to hotwire one." Everyone looks at you with shocked looks on their faces. "Okay so here's my plan..."

"Everyone got it?" You ask. And everyone replies with a big "Yes". Your group is ready. By the time your done explaining all the creatures have shambled off. You give your group a small nod and your off. Everyone climbs down the fire escape and you all make your way to the sports shed. Thankfully unnoticed. You all grab a weapon. Syera takes a bat, Alex takes a golf club, Joey takes a golf club too and you take a bat. Joey slowly opens the door and everyone runs out to the field. You all crouch down to make sure the things can't see you. You all make it across safely, and you finally make it to the parking lot. You choose a car to use, a black Audi. Joey reaches to open the car door, but it's locked. "Oh no! We didn't think of this! says Syera. "What do we do no-"
*crash*
Alex breaks the window with his club. "I guess that works" says Syera.
"Uh oh... looks like that window drew all the attention to us!" Alex says while looking at the pack of creatures turn towards you guys. "Quickly, get into the car!" You say while opening the door. Joey tries to get it started as fast as he can. The creatures are getting closer and closer. "Hurry up!" Shouts Syera. "I'm trying but it's not starting!" Joey shouts back. "We're gonna die if you do-"
There's a knock on the car window. "Help me!" Shouts a familiar voice. You look to your left and see Zack! You open the door for him and let him in. "What the fck?! You can't just let people in the car wi-" "JUST GET THE THING STARTED!" shouts Syera interrupting Joey. "Thanks" says Alex while looking directly in your eyes. You blush a little then look away. The creatures have gotten closer to the car and everyone panicks. "What the fck?! Why isn't it starting?" shouts Joey looking frustrated. Only then you realise that a creature is almost at the broken window, ready to bite Joey! You quickly take your bat and hit it's head and you kill it! The car finally starts up! "Yes!" You shout. "Great! Now get us out of here!" says Syera.

Joey pushes the gas paddle all the way to the floor and the car screeches into gear. He drives really fast and runs over some creatures in the process. He drives out of the school and onto the road. And your finally free...
