Because of Willow and Rye being older now they will tell their kids the truth. May the odds be ever in their favor
"Mom I'm going hunting wanna come?" I say because I don't know what she's doing or thinking about. "Not right now but, try and get something good we are gonna need more for breakfast, lunch, and dinner." She says then smiles, "ok, love you mom. Wait did you want to tell me something?" I ask, "yeah but, me and your dad will tell you when you get back, be safe." Then I leave.
I go into the woods and I quickly run to the hollow log me and my mom keep our weapons in and I grab my bow and arrows. I spot birds, "It's a mockingjay, wow" then I see some turkeys and I shoot an arrow right through it. "I got ya." It starts to rain so I hurry back to the hollow log, put my bow and arrows in the log, and run back home with our food.
"Mom I'm home, look what I got!" She comes in and her jaw drops from the six turkeys that I caught. "Oh right, I also saw a Mockingjay!" I say. Just then someone busts into the house and Rye walks in and I run upstairs and grab my backup bow and arrows and then, run back down putting rye behind me. "Who are you?!" I say pointing an arrow at him. Dad comes down. "Katniss, what's going on?" dad says. "Let the hunger games begin" he says out loud so everyone can hear. Then he left vanishing into the fog that consumed the rain. "Mom? Dad? What's going on?" Me and Rye say in unison as I take my arrow of my bow. "You guys should sit down" "yeah" They say shocked at what the man said 'Let the hunger games begin.'
