Chapter 6: Cuddles

~Karl POV~

I woke up to Sapnap spooning me and playing with my hair. So it wasn't just another wierd dream, I tought.

"Good morning Karl," Sapnap whispered with a raspy morning voice that made me blush.

"Good morning," I giggled.

"How did you sleep?" I asked him.

"I like sleeping with you in my arms but my back is shore from your couch, it's too small for me,"

Well yesterday after our dance under the stars, we didn't want to say goodbye to each other so I invited Sapnap to come over and we ended up falling asleep cuddling on the couch while watching cartoons.

I was snapped from my toughts by ringing of phone. It was Sapnap's phone.

"Oh. Hello dad," Sapnap said slowly but I didn't hear what was his dad talking about.

"Sorry I didn't tell you, I slept over at-," he stopped, not finishing the sentence.

"I think it's better if we talk about this in person," he told his dad.

"Yeah, see you soon," he said and hung up.

"I haven't come out to him yet but, I didn't want to lie about you being just my friend," he looked at me.

"I wanted to tell him but I don't wanna come out over the phone."

"That's fine Sapnap, I know coming out can be difficult," I said understanding his decision.

"Well, I guess I have to go home," he sounded a little upset that he has to leave already and at the same time scared of rejection.

"Could you maybe come with me?" he asked.

"If that will make you feel better then sure," I smiled at him and pulled him into a warm hug.

"Don't worry it's gonna be fine," I said and run my hair trough his soft hair.

"Thank you, I needed that hug," he whispered holding onto me.

After few minutes we let go of teach other and went to my car. Since Sapnap walked to the field, I would have to drive him home anyways. After a short while we pulled over in front of Sapnap's house and walked over to his front door. Sapnap unlocked the door with his keys and we walked in. Than his Dad came from the living room.

"Hello Sapnap and-," he looked at me.

"Karl," I smiled at him warmly and shook his hand, he seemed nice.

"Come sit to the living room. So what did you want to talk about?" he aksed Sapnap.

"So dad, I wanted to tell you that I am bisexual," he said and grabbed my hand.

"And that Karl is my boyfriend," he smiled weakly and I bushed.

There was a while of awkward silence and than hid dad stood up. And hugged him.

"I am proud of you," was the only thing his dad said.

"Thank you," I heard him mumble back.

I was just sitting there smiling, I was really happy that Sapnap's dad was accepting of him and our relationship.

"Welcome to the family Karl," his dad said and pulled me into a hug too.

"Thank you sir," I answered.

"No need to be formal, just call me Scott. And since you are already here, would you like to stay for lunch?"

I nodded and smiled. After that conversation Sapnap dragged me upstairs to his room. His room was actually pretty nice. It had his bed, desk with set up and closet in it. He came closer to his closet and opened it revealing a big bi flag.

"I actually did it," he said like he was just now processing what had actually happened.

He put the flag above his bed and sat on it. I sat down next to him and opened up my arms. He quickly cuddled into my arms and placed his ear on my chest. I was pretty sure he could hear my heart beating really fast.

"Your heart is beating really fast," he giggled.

"That happens only when I am around you," I blushed.

"My heart beats quicker when I am around you too," he told me.

We cuddled and scrolled trough our social media until we heard Sapnap's dad calling.

"Boys come down, the lunch is ready!"

We both were pretty hungry so we run to the table. After the lunch I said I had to go because I got an idea. I said bye to Sapnap and his dad and drove away, but instead of driving to my apartment I drove back to the dandelion field.

I pulled over at my usual spot and started walking towards the place where I we went with Sapnap in my dream. And surely enough, the tree was actually there. A majestic old oak tree.

I drove back to my apartment. I was going to take Sapnap out on a date. The date from my dream. I found my picnic basket and blanket. I made some salad and decided to buy some Monsters on my way to the field. Since I was a decent cook, I decided to make some muffins. I mixed the ingredients and made the butter. I put them into the oven and decided to text Sapnap.

It's a date

It was 6:20 PM so I decided to pick up something to wear. I decided to wear white collared shirt with a purple sweater and jeans with converse. I fixed my hair in the mirror and took the muffins from the oven.

I put everything into the picnic basket and took it to the car. I went to the gas station near the field and bought two Monsters. After that I went to the field and set everything up.
