Chapter 9: My Dandelion

~Karl POV~

"You look amazing" he complemented me and I blushed.

"Thank you, you don't look bad yourself" I complemented back.

He was wearng a black turtleneck with oversized white t-shirt with his signature flame over it and black jeans with checkered Vans. I looked at him and myself again and than I realised.

"We look like our minecraft skins," I laughed.

"Wait, we actually do," he laughed too.

After our laughing session I got back to preparing breakfast, I made scrambled eggs and bacon. After breakfast Sapnap took me to the movies and we went to get lunch after.

We arrived at the restaurant and I realized it's the new restaurant that opened few weeks ago that we wanted to go to. Sapnap told the waiter our reservation and we were seated at table for two. We got the menus and I looked at what they have.

"Everything here is so expensive," I said.

"Don't worry about it love, pick what you want, I am paying," he told me.

"But it's so expensive. I will pay half of it."

"Nope, I invited you here so I am paying. I wouldn't have invited you here if I couldn't afford it," he brushed me off again.

"Fine," I gave up and decided to let him pay.

The waiter came and we ordered. I decided to order spaghetti and Sapnap decided on steak. The food came and we ate, every so often stealing glances at each other. When our eyes locked again I smiled at him and he smiled back. We were sitting there smiling like the lovesick fools we were. But we didn't care.

After we finished our food the waiter came to take our plates.

"Any desert you want?" the waiter asked us.

"Surprise us," Sapnap said and smiled at the waiter.

The waiter left to get us some desert and we just talked until he came back. He came back with a small cake what said Happy 2 years anniversary and I knew that it was Sapnap's work. And when I looked at him, of course he had a wide grin on his face.

"Happy two years anniversary Karl!" He told me.

"Did you ask him to bring that cake?"

"Yep, yesterday when you fell asleep watching cartoons I went to get the cake," he giggled.

"Thank you so much. It's amazing! And it tastes really good too," I complement.

"I didn't bake it but I agree, it's really good," Sapnap said.

After we ate the cake and went back to our apartment. We cuddled up on our bed.

"Thank you Sapnap, this was the best anniversary ever," I told him.

"Who said it was already over?" he asked me.

"Is it not?" I asked back.

"I have one more surprise planned, but that is for later so for now we can just cuddle. I hope you'll like it," he told me

"I'm pretty sure I would like anything you planned," I said.

For few hours we just cuddled and decided to look through twitter where we found people congratulating us on our anniversary. I wasn't sure how they found out that it's today but than we found a clip from Dreams stream where he accidentally said that today is our anniversary. I didn't really mind it being leaked and was thankfully for the nice messages we got. Sapnap was reading the messages from fans as I fell asleep with Sapnap lying on my lap.

It was 7 PM when Sapnap woke me up and announced that it's time to go, we drove for few minutes until we pulled over to a familiar place. The dandelion field. Sapnap got out of the car, smiled at me and took my hand leading me towards the big old oak tree where our first date was. And there was blanket and a picnic basket with some food.

"Aww. Sapnap, you recreated our first date!" I giggled.

"Yep, I did and it's about the time to watch the sunset," he said as he pointed at the sun that was slowly setting.

We started eating as we watched the beutiful sunset. After the sun has set Sapnap played a song I immediately recognised. It was Dandelions. He put his hand towards me and asked me.

"Can I have this dance?"

I accepted his hand and we started slowly swaying in the rythem of the song.

"Remember our fist dance two years ago?" he asked.

"How could I forget that," I giggled.

"In that moment I fell in love with you 2 times deeper than I already was and I didn't even think that was possible, but every second I spend with you I fall more and more in love with you. You are my little dandelion, with you all I wished for became reality," he said placing a soft kiss on my lips.

And I've heard of a love that comes once in a lifetime
And I'm pretty sure that you are that love of mine

"I have only one last wish I want to make. I want to spend the rest of my life with you so I am asking you Karl. Will you make me the happiest man alive and marry me?" he asked me as he kneeled on one knee revealing a velvet box with a ring.

And I see forever in your eyes
I feel okay when I see you smile, smile

In that moment I had tears in my eyes as I answered him.

"Yes, yes of course I will marry you!" I told him.

He put the ring on my finger and pulled me into passionate kiss. The kiss lasted few minutes until we both had to break it to breathe. He placed his forhead on mine as we started slow dancing again.

"I love you my dandelion," he whispered.

"I love you too, love," I said back.

I was pretty sure that this was the best day of my life yet.

I am sad that it's ending but I'm happy that I actually finished it
