"My poor little angels." Yachi states as she covered her face trying to hide her teary eyes, she didn't know exactly why she was crying. She couldn't tell if it was her sorrow finally getting to her or the onions she was chopping up for the next day.She was disappointed, everyone was.
No one in the kitchen had replied to her although it was pretty clear some maids were whispering to each other, probably gossiping.
"We knew it was coming Yachi, nothing we can do about it now is there?" Kiyoko finally replied the disappointment evident in her voice as she washed the dishes left over from dinner. The dinner both the boys had skipped.
"Of course there is!" Tanaka exclaimed as he grabbed a biscuit from a nearby plate munching on it loudly as he sat next to a very disgusted looking Mako who was sitting on the counter.
"Ugh, chew like a human Tanaka, you sound like we haven't been feeding you." Mako says disapprovingly as some other maids giggle softly.
"You just don't understand man! Everyone loves a man who can chew like this." Tanaka shouted while some biscuit bits landed on Mako.
"EEEEEEEEKKKKKK" Mako shrieked as he jumped of the counter sprinting towards the sink. He pushed Kiyoko aside as he grabbed a handful of water quickly wiping it on himself as he made weird crying noises to acknowledge Tanaka that he was definitely not happy with this.
Tanaka on the other hand, roared with laughter falling onto the counter as the others could be heard either chucking or giggling.
"All of you!" Mako yells turning around to the room now full of loud laughter "stop laughing at me it's not funny! How about I spray Tanaka's spit on you huh?!"
The room quieted down almost immediately as some held a hand over their mouth or the others could be seen biting their lips while blinking rapidly to stop themselves from laughing.
"Aww come one guys, I have some extra spit to share~" Tanaka states wiggling his eyebrow. "Huh anyone? No? Okay," He said as he looked down faking his sadness.
Yachi was about to speak again but was interrupted by Tanaka. "Aeugh! No one cares about this lonely guard." He flopped himself down onto the ground, putting a hand on his forehead while choking out fake sad noises.
No one minded him. They just let Tanaka fake cry on the dirty ground as they finished their chores for the day.
Mako walked in front of Tanaka jumping unto the counter once again as he let his leg rest on Tanaka's chest. After Tanaka finished up his unrealistically fake cry's. He had a hand under his head as he kept his head up from the hard ground beneath him relaxing onto the uncleaned floors. And of course no one told him they haven't cleaned it the whole day
"There's something we can do about this you know, we can be like their..parents, and I personally think we are actually doing great in that, we would be there for him and we have been, especially Mako, we are doing great guys..really great." Tanaka shared as he let out a sigh.
They heard a series of "yeah" , "true" and "mhmm" from the room as everyone agrees with Tanaka for the first time in weeks.
"Yeah.." Mako trailed off,
immediately jumping of the counter as he heard loud cry's nearby. It alarmed everyone in the kitchen as they all stopped what they were doing and instead stared at the entrance as it burst open with a bang. They saw Atsumu making a full dash towards Mako, almost crashing onto Mako's leg, he failed to do so since Mako had already picked him up, squeezing him in a tight bear hug as he softly rocked the crying child back and forth. He looked over looking at all the staff staring at him with wide eyes, some covering their mouths in disbelief as others still looked towards the now open door apparently frozen in shock.
