"Augh" Atsumu groaned, blinking his eyes as it adjusted to his surroundings.

He gasped and threw his hands frantically forward touching the bark in fear. "Where am I?" He muttered out loud whilst feeling around the bark, once he found an opening, he angled his body and crawled out.

Once out, he stared at the hole covered by a bush, the one that protected him throughout the night.
Atsumu sighed as last nights memories began flooding into his head, which he then grabbed, feeling around for wounds.

Once his fingers laid on what he felt to be dried blood he brought his hands down and began checking the rest of his bodies, staring at the little scratches.

He quickly grabbed the bag that Askari had given him and quickly took some herbs from their containers, mixing them into his palm and gently applying on the wound on his head.

With haste he diligently wrapped his head with a bandage, tying it on the back and he finally got up from the pile of leaves he found himself on.

He immediately plunged down crashing his knees onto the leaves, Atsumu immediately sat and kicked off his shoes and checked his feet, his right foot to be exact- he examined the state of the hole in his feet.

He still remembers the pain he felt when his evil step mother showed the stick back into his foot, he remembers the shiver that ran down his spine, the vibration in his knee and the numbness of his head. The agonizing ruthless pain that came after as he had to endure the sharp end on the stick slide out of wound.

Blood had soaked his right shoe and he quickly grabbed some herbs and began to lightly sob as he took care of his scar.

"Let's try this again.." Atsumu softly whispered to his foot as put his shoes back on, with a smile he looked up at the sky and breathed in the gust of fresh air, anticipating the day he could stare at the blue sky with his brother and they both could breathe in the sweet scent of freedom.

Atsumu stood up and placed pressure on his right foot, he winced at the pain but he had to be strong, for Osamu.

Atsumu looked around to access his situation. He made eye contact with the wing he was held in all these years as he looked around, this spot provided a perfect view of the castle. Their castle.

He contemplated on his next move. Going to his village would be the best option as for now, he just hoped the soldiers from last night would've left by now as he headed south towards his people.

As Atsumu walked, he grabbed the black fox mask from his bag and wore the mask, hoping people may take him as a samurai, ultimately disguising himself.

While he strolled along south, a frown became to invade his face and he looked down at the compass. He was moving south but where was the village?

His frown deepened as the sun set and night approached. He yet hasn't reached the village and now began to panic, Atsumu caught himself staring at the needle.

He was going south...

As he surroundings darkened, he quickly found a branch as sat on the grass beneath his feet, he tore the old shirt in his bag and wrapped it across the top of the branch, tying a tight knot in the end to secure it

He grabbed two rocks and ignited a spark, once the cloth caught on fire, he smiled to himself and stood back up, he cringed at the sting underneath his right foot.

Perhaps I'll take a rest.. he thought and sat down next to a tree. He dug a hole on the ground using his hands and pushed the base of his branch into the hole.

Acknowledging his hunger, he grabbed some food Akari had wrapped for him and began to eat whilst staring at the illuminating flame, he stared at the orange that lit up his space and began to day dream about his brother.
