Five weeks had passed since Charles and Sophia lasted talked.
He was starting to think that this was all a joke and he wasn't actually solving anything.

That was until he got a letter in the mail.

He was a bit disturbed, mostly because no one knew where he lived.

He had been living with his grandparents ever since his parents died.

But in every directory and address giving things he never put down his grandparents address.

He wasn't really sure why, this is just what his grandparents told him to do.

At first when seeing the mail he thought that it could be something not for him.
But that changed when he saw his name written in a very fancy cursive in the front.

He ran to his room and quickly sat on his bed to read it,
Once he opened it a plane ticket dropped out as well as a small stack of bills.

He looked closer and saw that they were hundreds.
"What in the world~?!"

Along with those things there was also a note.
As he started to read it his brows crossed in confusion.

"The Manchester group? Sophia? Wait, how did she find me?"

He rereads the letter again and just sits there in a confused daze.

"She doesn't talk to me for a month and out of nowhere she sends me a plane ticket for Italy and a bunch of cash. This makes no sense!"

He groans as he falls back into his bed. He looks over it again and sits up.

"You know what? This needs to be researched."

He grabbed his laptop from his desk and sat back on his bed. He opened a web browser and typed in
"The Manchester Group"

He clicked the enter button but nothing came up. Except for one website, and it was a Wikipedia page.

"Of course it's Wikipedia. There better be something on here."

And to his dismay...nothing. Except for one sentence.

' The Manchester group is a money transfer company in North America, Europe, Asia, and many other countries.'

"Well I knew that~ there is nothing on them. Oh well...that means that we are heading to Italy...."
He grabs the ticket once more and sees the departure date.

"Tomorrow...tomorrow?! Shoot I have to pack. And wait...it's one way ticket. Why would it be one way?"

He sighed as he stood up from his bed. He looked down at the ticket and pile of cash.

" The letter did say that the money in the envelope is my pay for this. So...even if it's just a joke that money is real. You know what Charles? Stop worrying so much! You are going to Italy tomorrow...wait at what time?"

He looks at the time of departure and he whines. 6:30am... which means he has to get up really early.

"And what time is it?" He looks at the clock and nearly cried. "It's 12am...why do I don't sleep early?! But this case seems to be going well so far."

He mumbles a few more things as he runs to his closest to pull out his suitcase.

One thing that he wasn't aware of was that there was a figure sitting in a tree outside of his window.

"This case does seem to be going extremely well."

The dark figure said with a grin as it jumped out of the tree and left his house.
